Sugar[edit]

I'm answering your email here. Please see WP:REPEATLINK for why I reverted your edit. I probably should have put at least one back. VMS Mosaic (talk) 01:20, 13 August 2011 (UTC) Thanks for the feedback; Ihave re-instated a single link on the page.[reply]

FYI[edit]

Once you have 37 edits, you can use special:MergeAccount to create a global account. Then you could try usurping the "Dorade" name at the other projects. Let me know if you still want to go through with the rename. –xenotalk 12:35, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sugar[edit]

Thank you for your message RE addressing the sugar flag -- I will need to tonight to take a closer look as I am editing from my phone right now.

However at first glance I think I will need to make/propose some further changes. The paragraph still proceeds as though sugar's most credible health risk is hyperactivity, whereas I heard professor robert lustig call sugar 'poison,' based on evidence that it's the main cause of obesity & diabetes. Not that I'm an expert, but I read about it in 'Is sugar toxic,' a NYT magazine cover article. Even if the theory is controversial, it deserves a fair bit of attention in our article. And I think it was mentioned in the consumer reports article I was referring to in my flag, and that was the info I thought needed to be extracted from that article, or by adding more citations.

Essentially it's the absence of this theory that made me think this article its being scrutinized by a sugar lobby.

I'll take a closer look when I'm at my computer tonight. Thanks again
