Notability

Connie Bea Hope will survive. I'm pretty confident, and nothing is permanent so if it is deleted we can move it to userspace, fix it up, and try again.

Doing AfDs of similar subjects to prove a point is frowned upon. I know you were acting in good faith, but that's not the best approach (ie. unhelpful and likely to get you in trouble). Keep adding good stuff to the encyclopedia. Wikipedia takes a bit of getting used to and there tends to be a bias against regional topics that aren't covered in the New York Times, but usually the good guys win. :) Happy Memorial Day. Proposed deletion of Mobile municipal elections, 2009

The article Mobile municipal elections, 2009 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Localized city council elections of a mid-size city that fails WP:GNG outside some local sources, wasn't even bothered to be updated tells a lot about the notability of the subject.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
