Image tagging for Image:10-10-05011copy.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:10-10-05011copy.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Kansas City project proposal

[edit]

The best people to mention this possible project to are the people at Wikipedia:WikiProject Missouri. My own personal opinion is that this project might function better as a work group or task force within that project. Doing so would probably make the page be seen by the members more often, as they are also likely to be members of the Missouri project, and would eliminate a lot of the busy-work required for the maintainance of a project. Anyway, good luck, and happy editing! Badbilltucker 22:49, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to step on your toes, but I didn't realize you'd posted a request for this WikiProject. It's come up on Talk:Kansas City, Missouri in recent months so we went ahead and started it. Feel free to join in and help out! WikiProject Kansas City is the main page. -- nae'blis 20:14, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've speedy-deleted this article - it was already speedied once as advertising. FreplySpang 01:17, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great! We can always use more eyes on New Pages. Thanks for helping out! FreplySpang 01:34, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Do you know about the {{db}} templates? If you mark a page with one of these templates, the next admin that sees it will review and delete it. It's usually more efficient than notifying a particular admin. See WP:CSD#Deletion templates for the list. Cheers, FreplySpang 01:38, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, I don't have an MSN id. Please use the deletion templates listed at WP:CSD#Deletion templates to tag articles for deletion, instead of listing them on my user page. FreplySpang 01:42, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How is the article a copyvio? Please answer on my talk page. Thanks! Sr13 07:52, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Secret bulletin on myspace, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Truthanado (talk) 04:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There hasn't been much activity at WikiProject Missouri or any of its child projects lately, and I saw your name on the list of active participants. If you are willing to jump in again, please consider helping to revive the project:

If you know anyone who might be interested in Missouri (its history, culture, sports, people, places, architecture, etc.), please pass this message along to them! If you are still interested in the project but aren't currently active, please add yourself to the list of inactive participants at the bottom of this list. Thanks!

Nyarlathotep (band)

[edit]

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Nyarlathotep (band) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:34, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:3540290351 logo.jpg listed for deletion

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:3540290351 logo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 03:45, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mhiji 22:40, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Whatisthis.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned image, no context to determine possible future encyclopedic use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --TheImaCow (talk) 05:56, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
