I dont see the problem here. Its a user page. Im sorry it bothers you that I love George Washington so much. You dont have to watch him if you want. It leaves more George to fill my mind with.George Washington Head (talk) 03:02, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Can I have an administrator intervention if that is possible? I would really like to keep my page. Because George isnt around. (I'm not stupid) I only like the spirit of George Washington(father of our country, founded one day off,). This historical, intelligent man should not be forgotten like Ben Franklin.George Washington Head (talk) 03:05, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The problem as I see it, is that I do not believe you can directly copy content from an article and use it in your userpage, as you have done. If I am wrong, I would like to be pointed to that particular policy. ArcAngel (talk) 03:32, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

George Washington's birthday[edit]

Hello and thanks for the note.

If you go to the article about February 22, you will find George Washington listed in the Births section along with some other notable people born on the same day in different years. I don't think there's a need for a separate article whose sole purpose is to advise a reader of George Washington's birthday and nothing else. SWik78 (talk) 19:27, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage content[edit]

You can not copy content from articles and use them on your user page, as you have done (and are doing). You need to have ORIGINAL content on your user page, and not something taken a Wikipedia article. That's why your page was deleted. Come up with something ORIGINAL and your page will be allowed to stay. ArcAngel (talk) 12:33, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is no such rule or even an implication of such a rule, according to WP:USERPAGE. Pegasus «C¦ 12:47, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies for the disruption then. ArcAngel (talk) 13:48, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
