Speedy deletion of Hillary08

{warning removed} as on second thoughts, I redirected it to Hillary Rodham Clinton presidential campaign, 2008, which made more sense. Do I detect a theme in your editing at the moment?! Regards, BencherliteTalk 23:35, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Warnings

Hello, when giving a warning, please substitute it. For example: instead of {{uw-v1}}, try {{subst:uw-v1}}. Thanks, happy editing! Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 02:58, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Okay! Thank you for the pointer. -- Georgette2 (talk) 17:35, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

November 2007

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When using certain templates on talk pages, as you did to User talk:Fungusdookie, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of {{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Thank you. Alexfusco5 17:42, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry! I keep on forgetting. I'll remember next time. Georgette2 (talk) 17:44, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

On STAINLESS Steel

I just redirected it to stainless steel. Fine with that? ViperSnake151 00:14, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes! Georgette2 00:16, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Mgr Edward Dunne

Gah! You beat me to ((DB-bio)).  :) Mindraker (talk) 22:58, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Happy editing! Georgette2 (talk) 23:03, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

I have put my comments in the MIOS discussion page. let me know if should spent time creating this page or you want me to stop. If you think it is in-appropriate, let me know why?. It is about a meter communication standard evolving in India and is very relevant. Gp1973 (talk) 07:48, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, Gp1973. I saw the {{hangon}} template on the MIOS page and headed over to your talk page. I saw several warnings for inappropriate pages you created (including MIOS), so I warned you for creating another inappropriate page. Sorry! The page is okay! I'll remove the warning I gave you. BTW, happy Christmas if your Christian (and if you're not, happy holidays). Georgette2 (talk) 07:55, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. Wish you too Happy Christmas. I guess you need not be a Christian to accept a wish of Happy Christmas, atleast it works OK for me. Gp1973 (talk) 07:58, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

User talk:Andyboy92

Removed a speedy tag again I'm afraid. Paste (talk) 18:07, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

I hate when that happens but if the article is notable, then oh well! At least Wikipedia will have another article. Georgette2 (talk) 18:12, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

This user keeps removing speedy tags and copyviolation tags here [1] and here [2]. I think this user should be blocked since s/he's been given plenty of warnings. Georgette2 (talk) 18:22, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

He pulled the questionable content. Does the copyvio tag still apply? --BrokenSphereMsg me 18:34, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

If he pulled the questionable content, then the copvio doesn't really apply. I'll remove the tag. Georgette2 (talk) 18:36, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Clarify

FYI, I wasn't referring to your report with this AIV edit. I was referring to the other one. I accidentally blanked yours at the same time, but I did indefinitely block the user you reported. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 19:52, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

I understand. Georgette2 (talk) 19:54, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

I've removed the speedy deletion request from the article The Boyfriend list and replaced it with a proposed deletion one.

According to the criteria for speedy deletion, no assertion of notability is only a speedy deletion criterion for "articles about web content or articles on people and organizations themselves, not articles on their books, albums, software and so on". (Emphasis mine.)

I agree with your assessment of the article, though, and that it should be deleted under proper process.

Cheers! - Revolving Bugbear 20:43, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Okay! Thank you for helping me with that! Georgette2 (talk) 01:53, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

What is your problem? Are You A Racist?

On the Orville Lloyd Douglas page there are links to his work proof he has been published. The XTRA WEST article is from a gay Canadian newspaper that clearly is an interview about Orville Lloyd Douglas and his book "You Don't Know Me". There is proof from Worldcat which is one of the largest libraries for books with over 94 libraries carrying his book "You Don't Know Me". There are also proof for his articles published in top publications such as the New Zealand Herald, and Georgia Straight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordanjames (talkcontribs) 21:31, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

I have placed a "hangon" on this, as the editor says that it's undergoing a major edit. I say we give it a few days to establish notability, then I'll delete it later if it still doesn't establish notability. Malinaccier (talk) 19:27, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind. Malinaccier (talk) 19:30, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Use of automatic reversion tools

Please be careful what you mark as vandalism with tools that produce an automatic edit summary. This [3] was not a revert of vandalism and marking it as such only results in ill will. Reversions of good faith edits should always have a fully explanatory edit summary. Thanks. CIreland (talk) 22:01, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay. Sorry about that. I should be more careful when I revert edits that are in good faith. Georgette2 (talk) 22:09, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Ohhhh...

I wonder if anyone still get's on this page.....if so.... type here→
