Tagging of Afatauri‎

[edit]

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Afatauri‎. I do not think that Afatauri‎ fits any of the speedy deletion criteria because sufficient context for a stub & inhabited places are inherently notable. I request that you consider not re-tagging Afatauri‎ for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. You are, of course, free to tag the article with {{prod}} or nominate it at WP:AFD. Carlossuarez46 01:48, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Carolina Business Institute

[edit]

I've declined the speedy tag you placed on Carolina Business Institute. The reason is:

schools explicitly excluded from CSD A7

I removed the speedy tag you placed on the article, the status of intergovernmental organization, and furthermore, related to the UNESCO, is an assertion of importance/significance, so it passes the "speedy level". For your information, CenariumTalk 22:26, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Enterostatin

[edit]

Blackash had asked for suggestions for incoming links to Enterostatin at the Doctors' Mess, so I noticed your removal of the orphan tag. Although I can see you are interested in de-orphaning articles, does it make sense to remove an {{orphan}} tag from an article that is technically still an orphan by the definition at WP:Orphan – as it has just two incoming links that meet the criteria? If you read the suggestions there, it clearly instructs "Once the article has three or more links that fit the criteria, remove the {{orphan}} tag". I note that there is a backlog, and the suggestion is not to place a new tag unless an article has zero incoming links, so I won't replace the tag. --RexxS (talk) 15:59, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. Its been a while since I've looked at WP:Orphan. Didn't know they change the minimum criteria from 2 to 3 links. I won't put the tag back either but I will see if I can't find a third link. Geozapf (talk) 01:17, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. As we need the text to link from, I always use a Google search on the site to see if it already exists in other articles. Searching for 'site:en.wikipedia.org enterostatin' still only gives Eating and Colipase. I just had the idea of adding Enterostatin as a See also in Weight loss. If it sticks, that'll be the third incoming link. --RexxS (talk) 02:20, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
