Hello Gerardadlum. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Draft:Xtremepush, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Gerardadlum. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Gerardadlum|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 21:51, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Curb Safe Charmer. Thank you for bringing the paid contributor issue to my attention. My user profile has been amended.
Regarding this entry itself, I am unsure what you mean when you say there is not enough evidence of "independent" coverage. All articles cited are from independent media outlets.
The company was also recently named in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant, a significant recommendation from a global consultancy. Would this addition add sufficient weight to the entry?
The Venturebeat article is clearly based on a press release and is largely based on the company talking about itself - not independent. The Times article needed a subscription so I couldn't evaluate that one. The first Silcone Republic ref is a founder talking about the company - not independent. The Irish Examiner article has no author identified which is an indicator of an advertorial style piece. The second Silicon Republic article is a mere mention of the company - not in depth coverage. The businessworld.ie reference is a broken link. The techcentral reference is clearly a news release. The businesspost.ie reference requires a subscription but appears to be the company talking about itself. The third Silicon Republic ref is based on a news release by the company. The Temenos reference doesn't provide in depth coverage. The Finextra reference is a copy of the Temenos article. The business-times.co.uk article is based on a news release. Therefore none of the references meet the WP:NCORP criteria. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 13:39, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
