Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Getting, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Despite its title (presumably intended to get under the radar) this article was actually about one Nosratallah Khakian, whose article was deleted as non-notable after a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nosratallah Khakian, and also deleted after an AfD on the Farsi Wikipedia. It has since been repeatedly posted under different titles by a series of sockpuppets - see WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Kamran1370; but once an article has been deleted after an AfD, any re-creations are speedily deleted unless they address the issues from the AfD. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 15:38, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's a shame, I thought it was genuine and was looking forward to building it more, nevermind. Thanks for the welcome as well :) Getting (talk) 15:41, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You can report problems with admins misusing their privileges at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for repeated personal attacks. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  The Rambling Man (talk) 15:19, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You happy now you finally blocked me? I am going to take you to the cleaners for this. Getting (talk) 15:30, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have been hounded by this admin for months, and under no circumstances have I ever made "personal attacks" like what he claims now. Prior to this, he has repeatedly attempted to blackmail me, again over non existant "personal attacks". Now he has blocked me, I feel I have been the victim of horrendous admin abuse and intolerable stalking.

Decline reason:

I see many personal attacks and very clear warnings for such removed from your talk page. I see no blackmail or "stalking". I'm sorry that you're confused by our policy on personal attacks; it would seem unwise to unblock you when you seem intent on denial. Kuru (talk) 15:46, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

How about a list then Kuru, since in your "wisdom" you feel I should be gagged, give me a list of the "personal attacks" then... Getting (talk) 15:48, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You made personal attacks on all administrators, encouraged a user to outright BREAK their topic ban, and then came and asked me why I sucked so much? Yeah, you deserve a block. Probably for longer even. gwickwiretalkedits 17:34, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am genuinely interested in why you are so bad, if that hurt your precious little feelings then TOUGH :) Getting (talk) 17:52, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for repeated personal attacks and abuse of your talkpage while blocked. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  The Rambling Man (talk) 19:43, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
