No, you can't create an article about your non-notable website. That's why you are blocked. Wikipedia is not a free advertising vehicle. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:42, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

My apologies, I was trying to add more explanations to File Sharing article. My second edit didn't contain any links, only text. I thought anyone can edit these pages. Please unblock.

Decline reason:

Your request to be unblocked is declined because it does not address the reason for your block or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince administrators either (a) that the block was made in error or (b) that the block is no longer necessary because you understand what you are blocked for, you will not do it again and you will make productive contributions instead. Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:54, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Anyone can edit if they follow policies, one of which is to not use Wikipedia as an advertising medium. There is no point in unblocking you if you plan on attempting to readd promotional material about your file-sharing site. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:54, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|I totally understand the reasons why my account was blocked. I read wikipedia editing policies and now understand why my post was treated as spam. I will not use wikipedia as an advertizing engine for my site. I will only make contributions according to wikipedia editing policies. I will not make any more attempts to post any promotional materials about my file-sharing site. Please unblock my account, I want to start making useful contributions. Again, I understand why my account was blocked and certify that this block is no longer needed, as all my further posts will be in accordance with policies and carefuly reviewed before post. Thank you in advance.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Very well, we will assume you did not have bad intentions. Please note that repeating the same kind of edits that caused you to get unblocked will result in an immidiate and indefinite block with no chance of unblock.

A tag has been placed on XMap.Net, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
