Seems to be a useful essay, worth to start the discussions. Please continue Alex Bakharev (talk) 06:45, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Who was the ArbCom member present in the IRC yesterday when this ballyhoo was going on? Cla68 (talk) 06:55, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • I am not sure the essay is the right place to mention specific accounts, difs and logs. I would prefer to have a general discussions of the flaws with the project and its policies as such a document can be a start of a productive discussion. On the other hand if the essay would become to personal it might be labeled as an attack page and deleted. Alex Bakharev (talk) 07:57, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      • Good point. Naming names might detract from the essay's intended message. Cla68 (talk) 08:05, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Tha Arb can name himself if he wants to - I won't. he did later say as the conversation worsened "I have to say, if I didn't know the roster, I would find it hard to believe sometimes that this is the administrators' channel." - Pity FT2 did not feel the same way. Why hasn't David Gerard participated in any of the current discussions surrounding this incident? Doesn't he own that channel? Cla68 (talk) 20:48, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, I think you are thinking of James Forrester , the Arb; and no it was not him quoted above, I don't think James F is actually in the channel that much, I expect he and the more superior Arbs have a yet more private channel elsewhere, Giano (talk) 21:25, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
