You'll never get in a word edgewise with 2 or 3 of the people who monitor this page. They are going to delete anything that is remotely positive about The Way. You can thank Yayhoo! for that. Stanleygoodspeed777 07:55, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stanley, the fact that your edits were never acceptable had less to do with them being "remotely positive about The Way" and much more to do with your attempts to ignore fundamental Wikipedia policies such as NPOV and replace them with your own invented policies such as "CPOV", "PPOV", "FB-POV" -- need I go on? -- Antaeus Feldspar 17:17, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Goodspeed, thanks for the info ... the tares planted here will be gathered and burned in their time, whether in this administration or the next. All men will answer to Jesus Christ at the bema for the words they spoke and deeds they did which hindered the free course of the word of the Lord. The wicked will slander and calumniate, but the righteous will speak truth. PS : What is "CPOV", "PPOV", and "FB-POV"? Gideonmjames 19:31, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Answer: Three different names for "I don't like obeying the same policies that everyone else has to follow, so I'll invent my own and give it a series of acronyms and maybe that will let me get away with breaking all the rules." (Note: it didn't.) -- Antaeus Feldspar 21:01, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Gideon, as you can see, Feldspar is better named "Sparfield" ... he likes to tangle, but otherwise he is reasonable and, for the most part, courteous. I don't consider him a tare. "CPOV" is "cultic point-of-view", i.e. with a view to looking FOR cult traits and accusations. "PPOV" is "positive point-of-view", i.e. a point-of-view that does not seize on every negative and then make a book out of it. "FB-POV" is "fair-and-balanced point-of-view", i.e. it doesn't cult-hunt or make an ABC 2-hour special report out of every accusation that blows in the wind ... it highlights and reports TRUTH, not slander and decades-old "facts". Do you realize that at the end of the day there is always going to be somebody out there who calls The Way International a cult, and if not the word cult then they would find another derogatory term for an organization like this. I'm not trying to be mean or point out the obvious (which, now that I think about it I guess I kinda am), but it is seriously an endless battle. I would get so frustrated. Although Gideon I have to say that I am very intrigued by your disposition. -- sillygoose0203 05:55, 14 November 2006

Sillygoose0203, it goes back to Titus 1:9-16 ... the mouths of the wicked CAN and WILL be stopped ... eventually their words reach the ears of a David who knows how to take 'em out. But I understand where you're coming from ... Proverbs 29:9.
