Peter Gilbert[edit]

Hello, and thanks for your note. Thing is, Wikipedia isn't here for people to write their "own" pages. It works by anyone helping to write a page by using information already published in what we call reliable sources (click HERE to see what we mean by that) to try and make sure we get stuff right. As far as I'm aware, I've only undone someone's edit at the Peter Gilbert page either when it's been obvious vandalism, which I presume we're not talking about, or if someone's removed some sourced content without saying what was wrong with it or why they were removing it.

That said, if you are Mr Gilbert and there's something untrue in the Peter Gilbert page that needs changing, please say what the problem is either on my talk page, or on the article talk page Talk:Peter Gilbert. You may prefer to go to the Biographies of Living Persons Noticeboard HERE, where you can find people experienced in dealing with problems with articles about living people. It's also worth having a look at the page WP:Autobiography, which talks about how to avoid problems with a page about yourself. Hope this is helpful, cheers, Struway2 (talk) 19:45, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
