Hey Gina, you always post detailed and well thought-out responses on our class website, so I know your Wikipedia edits will be just as great. Pretty neat that you already made edits to pages like Starbucks, as I love to drink coffee. I look forward to reading your future contributions! Hollyferet (talk) 16:45, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gina! I'm looking forward to your contributions on Wikipedia, especially on the article on Nordstrom. I love that store.Castil18 (talk) 20:18, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Gina! I may not be in your discussion group, but I think that it is really great that you have already made changes for the Wikipedia page for Starbucks. I love coffee and Starbucks is my favorite coffee shop. I definitely will be reading any future changes that you will be making. I wish you the best of luck with this assignment! Hey Gina! I like that you picked such high profile companies like Starbucks and Nordstrom to edit before. There is definitely lots of information out there for those two! Areichfeld (talk) 05:34, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gina, I can't wait to see your contributions. You have two big companies to work with. Good editing! Jeanbapw (talk) 12:44, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gina,

1. No, Nordstrom, Wiley and Starbucks are not part of Wiley's stub.

2. I feel as though these pages are of high quality on Wikipedia. Maybe picking a department store that isn't as high profile would be better, or a coffee shop that isn't as established.

3. I couldn't find this students proposal, just the pages that they have edited on Wikipedia.

4. No, none of these pages are controversial.

5. I think working on a page that isn't as high profile would work out better for Gina, she can search Wikipedia to find a different department store or coffee shop.

I couldn't find the edit proposals. I thought they were supposed to be on the talk page and I can't seem to find them on canvas instructor. Gina I think you the pages you picked to edit were great and most limey ones you show some sort of interest in. Lmestre (talk) 17:30, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hello, Gina at Stockton College and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Blue Rasberry (talk) 02:20, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
