Gonzalo

[edit]

Hey there Aegeou; I hope you are well and are enjoying Wikipedia. Gonzalo’s page got taken down because you need to alert the community when you are creating an article for a storm, on the talk page of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season article. Unless the storm is a major hurricane or a storm that has caused major damage and deaths, which Gonzalo isn’t, its standard procedure to tell the community, mainly so if they have any complaints, questions, comments, or advice to tell you. Then, if there is consensus to make a split-off ofmthe storm from the season article, feel free to create the article for the storm. Thank you for your edits, and stay safe! ~ Destroyeraa🌀 15:57, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Midnight Crew (musical group) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Midnight Crew (musical group), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lara George, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Midnight Crew. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Assassination of Laurent-Désiré Kabila

[edit]

Hello Aegeou2,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Assassination of Laurent-Désiré Kabila for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Now that I've removed the copyvio, Assassination of Laurent-Désiré Kabila is not complete enough to remain in mainspace, so I've moved it back to draft. When you think it's ready, please submit it using the Articles for Creation template on the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 12:25, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Richards Middle School (Lawrenceville) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please don't create lower-than-high-school articles without discussion

[edit]

The vast majority of elementary, middle, and junior high schools in the United States do not meet Wikipedia's "notability" guidelines. Rather than nominate them for deletion, I will be redirecting all schools in Gwinnett County Public Schools that aren't high schools to the school system's page.

If you undo these changes, I will send the page to WP:Articles for deletion, where the outcome is all but certain.

Exceptions will be made for schools in historic buildings, where the building meets Wikipedia's notability criteria, for schools that have received hard-to-earn recognition like Blue Ribbon school, and for schools that were the location of a historic event. The reasons for these exceptions is that such schools or buildings very likely meet WP:Notability. I will also make exceptions for articles whose references clearly demonstrate that the school in question meets WP:Notability.

The best place to discuss the creation of a school that is not clearly notable is on the school system's page if there is one, or the page of the city or county normally associated with schools in that area. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 01:04, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reminder! I will make sure to not do it again! 🌀Aegeou2🌀 talk! 01:25, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
