False etymology[edit]

Hi! You seem to be missing the point here and here. I'm sure some people think (incorrectly) that the word "samurai" derives from "ssaurabi" and "samurang"; and yes, that would be an example of false etymology, but that's not what this section is about. It's about words whose forms have been changed as a result of folk etymology. And I see no evidence that false beliefs about the etymology of "samurai" have led to a change in the form of the word "samurai". I hope that helps. garik (talk) 10:43, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war: Kumdo[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kumdo. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Nanominori (talk) 18:06, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
