Ella Marchment[edit]

I may have misunderstood the situation; if so, I offer my apologies. I saw the latest of a series of accounts which have edited exclusively on that one article, and in a promotional way, and it looked very much like the pattern we see when someone either edits about themself or pays others to edit for them, with the purpose of making a Wikipedia article that promotes themself. If that was not, in fact, what you were doing, then by all means return to editing, but I strongly advise you to start small. My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to articles, rather than making substantial rewrites of articles. That way any mistakes you make will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to make major changes, or even write whole new articles, without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. Thank you. I have deleted my account as an act of good faith––no wish to do anything that compromises the page or causes undue work for moderators such as you. I hope someone will correct the flags on the page and edit it as they think best. Warmest wishes … Globegenie. 185.145.41.76 (talk) 08:49, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
