Speedy deletion declined: Meshcherts people

Hello Glebchik. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Meshcherts people, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: I can't see what's blatant about this. Explain rationale on my talk page, or take to AfD. Thanks. . Thank you. GedUK  21:17, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi, Glebchik! Since this is currently on AfD, procedurally I can no longer speedy it. I will, however, add my support for deletion. Best,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); February 4, 2011; 14:13 (UTC)

Your request for rollback

Hi Glossologist. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 09:42, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Nope, don't think so. Most likely it's commons:User:Alex Tora. Just take a look at anon's global contributions. --glossologist (talk) 01:42, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
I see. Yes it is looks like as you pointed. In any case I asked to protect the page. Hopefully this will reduce edit warring. Cheers, M.K. (talk) 06:57, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 3

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited History of Colchester, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page River Colne (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

May 2013

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Grāveri Parish may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 00:13, 27 May 2013 (UTC)

rm name in Polish, which is not an official language in the region

Hi,

thank You for your edit and corrections of my spelling mistakes. Please appoint a place in the text when removed Polish name Grodzieńszczyzna shall exist. However Polish language is not an official language of Belarus, it is a spoken language of biggest minority in Belarus to say nothing of it has been also official language of the region for five centuries till the 1945. Please apply your changes considering presented facts.

Best regards - Jedrzej Wolski (talk) 15:25, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Cześć. This article is about an administrative division created in 1944, so I don't think translating its name into Polish and placing it into the lede and infobox is really reasonable. There is, however, indeed some sense in mentioning the Polish historic designation of the region Grodzieńszczyzna somewhere in the history section. --Regards, glossologist (talk) 15:39, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Notifying users about incident reports

Hey, just a friendly reminder to notify users when you open reports on them, as you recently did at AN3. (I've already informed User:73.178.187.55, so no need to worry about it this time.) larryv (talk) 02:59, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
