Your RFA[edit]

Hello, I've closed your Request for adminship because it does not have any likelihood of success. You just created your account on the 17th and your post at the Help Desk (and your talk page) show that you are not ready for Adminship. I recommend you check out these links to find out what our project is about:

Abuse?[edit]

Howdy.. what seems to be the problem? I don't see where anyone has deleted a page you're created, which is a common cause of complaints. If this is your complaint, well, perhaps Wikipedia isn't the right place for you. All editors should expect to have their content edited mercilessly by others. This is, after all, a collaborative project. Friday (talk) 21:48, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It looks as though you came across an edit by User:Can't sleep, clown will eat me where he was attempting to revert some vandalism to Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates. Based on the edit summaries, it looks like Clown's browser had a slight glitch, probably caused by an edit conflict (which happens sometimes) and caused him to re-add the vandalism he intended to remove. This doesn't mean Clown is an irresponsible admin - in fact, he's one of the more experienced admins I've seen on the wiki. It just means he made a slight mistake that fortunately was easy enough to fix. Please remember that we are all human, and so mistakes get made. As a result, we need to assume good faith before attacking people about things. Hersfold (t/a/c) 21:57, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note[edit]

Hello, I have reverted the attack you put on your user talk page about Can't Sleep Clown Will Eat Me. Please read WP:NPA. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 22:16, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration and unblock procedure[edit]

Hi. As an Arbitration Committee Clerk, I have removed your post to the requests for arbitration page because it is not in the prescribed format and was very difficult to understand.

In any event, before filing a request for arbitration, an editor should use the other procedures that are available first. In this case, that would include filing requests for unblocking for review by an administrator. Please see Wikipedia:Appealing a block for information on how to do this. Please note that this procedure should be used by the account that was blocked. You are not permitted to evade a block by creating a new account. Newyorkbrad 22:46, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

Please stop your vendetta against User:Can't sleep, clown will eat me. Your comments are disruptive and you have been asked to stop several times. Continuing these actions may result in a block. This is your final warning. As a note, I am not an administrator, and so cannot block people myself. Also, Clown has not touched the main page for several months, according to the page history. Please stop making personal attacks and consider making constructive contributions to the project. Thank you. Hersfold (t/a/c) 19:15, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

Thank you for your kind words, however I personally am not currently interested in becoming an admin purely because I can do all my vandalism reverting work without needing to have the admin tools. --Samtheboy (t/c) 05:56, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your questions[edit]

Hi. In response to your questions on my talkpage, there's nothing special about my username. I made it up one day when I started editing Wikipedia and I thought I would only be writing a couple of pages. If I'd realized I'd be here for a long time and my name would wind up on User:Radiant!/Classification of admins someday, I would have gone for something more creative. Yes, I'm from the New York area, and I root for the New York teams in the various sports. Happy editing. Newyorkbrad 21:19, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
