Hi Gody, please look at our policy pages WP:Identifying reliable sources and WP:External links to see the sorts of links that would (or would not) be welcomed here. Having looked briefly at the page http://simplebibletruths.net/ the presentation alone makes me think that it is is not peer reviewed academic work, but WP:original research, and is therefore not appropriate material for Wikipedia to link to. – Fayenatic L (talk) 09:01, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your message. IMHO it is still a mess; different text sizes and colours tend to look silly. But even if you changed all pages on the site to a more respectable-looking presentation, it would still not be appropriate to add links to it in Wikipedia. There is one link to it in a citation on the page John 1:1, which may be just about all right as it is a list of translations supporting a point made in the text, but with respect I do not think there is going to be any more scope to add links to your website here. Please stop, as you are not winning any supporters by your edits. – Fayenatic L (talk) 11:30, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Text size

[edit]

Gody, as you mentioned small print, did you know you can increase the size of text in web browser programs? The exact method varies from one program to another but try just clicking in the text and then holding down the Ctrl key while you type the + key. You can do it a few times and it will go on getting bigger.

Also, this page lists ways to permanently set your browser to larger fonts, and this one has more suggestions. – Fayenatic L (talk) 09:20, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Trinity has been reverted.
Your edit here to Trinity was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed email address removed, email address removed) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:37, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Trinity with this edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. RA0808 talkcontribs 06:11, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Trinity with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. CanuckMy page89 (talk), 06:26, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Trinity. CanuckMy page89 (talk), 06:29, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

John 1:1

[edit]

I moved your contribution from John 1:1 to Talk:John 1:1#SBT, which is the place for discussion about how to improve the article.

Really, you have no grounds for complaining against Wikipedia. Your link was not removed "out of bias to certain truth". As I explained to you above in March, the web page that you linked to is what we call original research rather than a reliable source. Moreover, its presentation still makes it look like a joke.

Please take another look at the pages linked in the Welcome box (above) before you consider adding anything else to Wikipedia articles. I'm being lenient with you because I think you mean well but, given the warnings above, you could have been blocked for adding that link again. – Fayenatic London (talk) 08:06, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
