December 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Sine wave, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Sine wave was changed by Going3killu (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2009-12-10T01:17:05+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 01:17, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Sine wave. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. ZooFari 01:20, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption[edit]

Greetings Going3killu, I see you're up for adoption, and I'm in the market. If ever you need advice or answers, just ask me -- any question, any time. I'd like to help however I can. I see you've run in to some trouble before, but that's the past; you're always wanted for constructive editing. - Draeco (talk) 03:41, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The best I can do is point you to Help:Displaying a formula. For more, you can go to the list of adopters and search (Ctrl+F) for terms like "math" to find someone with more expertise. I get User:MathCool10, and User:Dcoetzee who is nominally not adopting, but you can always ask anyway - Draeco (talk) 14:52, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion of e[edit]

I had a recent talk about the 10000 digits involving the constant "e". I had a little accident reversing the IP's edit to bring back the 10000 digits. But I've realised in the history box that you were the person who added 10000 digits into the constant "e". Because of the excessive number of digits and by the fact that "e" is declared an irrational number, this edit was reversed because it disturbs the article visually. Remember, don't get too carried away next time. Minimac94 (talk) 06:59, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Golden ratio, you will be blocked from editing. Dicklyon (talk) 06:47, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Proof for 1st exponential integral has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A random mathematical proof is not an appropriate Wikipedia article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Largo Plazo (talk) 04:02, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Username[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, Going3killu, may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because your user is offensive as it can read as Going to Kill you. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 17:16, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Going3killu, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 07:44, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
