Re:

Hey. Yea I'm basically interested in all kinds of history, but mainly British colonial history, so I guess were not that different in terms of historical interests. Unfortunately the Wikiproject British Empire has been slightly inactive for a while, and I wanted to get it back up and running. I've written an article that is of interest to the Wikiproject: British colonisation of Tasmania. Just wondering if you could look over the article and maybe improve it if possible? Cheers. I may be reading this wrong, but your comment here seems to assume an astonishing level of bad faith among the editors recommending delete, the admin who closed the debate, and the admin who opened the debate in the first place. If you're concerned that consensus at the debate was judged improperly, Deletion Review is that way. Parting shots at a closed debate serve absolutely no purpose but to enflame what already appears to be a heated issue. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 18:42, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

New Page Triage engagement strategy released

Hey guys!

I'm dropping you a note because you filled out the New Page Patrol survey, and indicated you'd be interested in being contacted about follow-up work. This is to notify you that we've finally released both the initial documentation about the project and also the engagement strategy, which sets out how we plan to work with the community on this. Please give both a read, and leave any comments or suggestions you have on the talkpage, on my talkpage, or in my inbox - okeyes@wikimedia.org.

It's awesome to finally get to start work on this! :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 02:24, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
