SZA discography

[edit]

Hello. Regarding your edits to SZA discography, firstly, you added a link to charts.nz. You claimed, by changing the access-date to "17 December 2022", that you had accessed the source on the date you added it. If you visit the link you added in this edit, you can clearly see charts.nz does not currently have any of the new peaks archived on its website yet, so you added unsourced material—do not do this per WP:V. Secondly, you exceeded 10 columns. Please don't add any more than 10 columns in a discography wikitable per the widely followed example of WP:DISCOGSTYLE and as it is an WP:ACCESSIBILITY concern. Thanks. Ss112 06:03, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As I just said in my edit summary, the NZ Top 40 Singles Chart for this week was already a citation on the page in the Singles section. You did not need to type out your own citations for the NZ Hot Singles Chart—you have made the citation style less consistent for no reason whatsoever when you could have just copied the citations from the header. Please sensibly decapitalise any sections of titles in ALL CAPS in future, and if you're going to put quotation marks in a ref name, make sure you have an ending ". Thank you. Thank u for the edit notes. I defer to ur expert knowledge :) GoldenSubtle (talk) 05:17, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stage names

[edit]

You might want to read WP:COMMONNAME instead of repeatedly moving a singer's article to every new pseudonym they choose to perform under. Thanks. Ss112 02:02, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank u for ur interest in my old edits from 2021, I guess?? :) GoldenSubtle (talk) 05:25, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
2021? You edited his article the other day. Ss112 06:40, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your retirement

[edit]

Wikipedia editors are not educators, nor do they have any obligation whatsoever to "inspire" with what they do on this website. I don't care what other editors intend, but I am not here to "inspire" anybody. Just above, you called my comments "edit notes", then minutes later on my talk page you called them "unkind"? A bit of feedback on your unnecessary refactoring of citations and pointing out our Manual of Style and you're put off editing? Sorry, but all of this isn't sounding like my fault but rather that you have other things going on. The fact that you said you intend to "dramatically delete" your account tells me that you wouldn't have been able to handle a bit of constructive criticism from any editor, and that this is solely intended to "teach" me something and let others know by posting on my talk page. Otherwise, why "dramatically"? "Dramatics" are always to prove a point. Also, Wikipedia editors cannot delete their accounts. You can abandon your account and have it renamed, but there's no "deleting" it as edit histories still need to ascribe the edits you've made on a registered account to an account. Your retirement isn't on me and I resent and reject any notion three messages to you (and an edit summary in which I tagged you) somehow made you feel unwelcome, let alone "awful" and want to retire. Pointing out Wikipedia's Manual of Style was in no way "berating" you. Ss112 06:54, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
