Distribution maps[edit]

Hello Goldie4Wiki,

I read your question in Wikimedia Commons about using distribution maps from the Atlas of Living Australia. You must not do a simple cut&paste of the map - doing so is a breach of copyright, but there are ways of using the information legitimately. It is not something I have worked out myself, but some of the pages I've created do have distribution maps that others have created, as for example in this article. I appreciate that you are doing this for an assignment/assessment and I'm very happy to help. Please ask for help on my user page. Gderrin (talk) 10:21, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've worked out how to do the map. (Click on the map, then "More details", then the url to see the CC-BY 4.0 license.) I don't know the requirments of your course, but if you need to expand the article further, you could add some details to the subspecies, using the references I've added, and the "Flora of Australia" where there are descriptions of the subspecies.
