Speedy deletion nomination of Zalo

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Zalo, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - MrX 02:42, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Response to your email

[edit]

The reason that your article was nominated for speedy deletion is because it has no sources, nor credible claim of significance (in my opinion). More troubling was the statement "Gonzalo "Zalo" Garcia-Pedroso...grew up A VERY SPOILED BRAT. The brattiness probably stems...". This statement seems to attack the subject, against Wikipedia policies, although that may not have been your intention.

An admin (sysop) will decide whether or not the article should be deleted. I recommend that you read some of the help tutorials (linked above) about the five pillars of Wikipedia and how to make contributions to the project. If you have any question, feel free to post them here and I will try to answer them. Please remember to sign all of your talk page posts with four tildes like this: ~~~~

Best wishes. - MrX 03:14, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gonzalo Garcia-Pedroso requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. —Largo Plazo (talk) 15:58, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at South Kent School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. That edit was dubious to the point of verging on vandalism Meters (talk) 02:14, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
