Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on ದೇವಾನಂದ್ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kannada alphabet, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Letter. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:22, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion criteria

[edit]

I declined your speedy deletion tag of Maduve Impossible, as there is no existing speedy deletion criteria for unremarkable or non-notable films. Please review the speedy deletion criteria. You are welcome to use the Proposed Deletion or Articles for Deletion processes. 331dot (talk) 10:23, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@331dot: This movie is not notable. It is not released or made. Since 2011 being a Kannadiga and being a sandalwood follower I did not hear about this movie and there are not enough sources as well. Because of this, I marked it for deletion. --Gopala Krishna A (talk) 10:43, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know enough about this subject area to know if you are correct or not, you may be right. As I state above, there are processes for you to use that are appropriate and valid. The speedy deletion method that you attempted to use is not valid as there is no speedy deletion criteria for non-notable films. I would suggest first using the Proposed Deletion process. 331dot (talk) 10:47, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@331dot: Yes. Thank you. --Gopala Krishna A (talk) 11:36, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Hello, Gopala Krishna A. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:Radhika Vemula.

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2016 Uri attack, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Uri (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

April 2019

[edit]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but your recent edits appear to be intentional disruptions designed to illustrate a point. Edits designed for the deliberate purpose of drawing opposition, including making edits you do not agree with or enforcing a rule in a generally unpopular way, are highly disruptive and can lead to a block or ban. If you feel that a policy is problematic, the policy's talk page is the proper place to raise your concerns. If you simply disagree with someone's actions in an article, discuss it on the article talk page or, if direct discussion fails, through dispute resolution. If consensus strongly disagrees with you even after you have made proper efforts, then respect the consensus, rather than trying to sway it with disruptive tactics. Thank you.
