Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Godfuel. Practicing edits

[edit]

Hey, welcome to Wikipedia! On Godfuel, you said you wanted to practice editing a bit. I'd like to show you the Wikipedia Sandbox, where you can edit to your heart's content without being potentially flagged negatively. Enjoy. Casull 12:29, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ok cool, dont even know hot to reply you but I suppose this the way??? anyways thanks and ill have a go on sandbox, save being flagged again

That is the way indeed. You can indent your text by insterting a colon (:) in front of the text, like I have done. Plrk (talk) 12:33, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Gospeltheology. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Stephen Fawcett, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Stephen Fawcett to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, RPhilbrook (talk) 23:05, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Stephen Fawcett for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Stephen Fawcett is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stephen Fawcett until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. DGG ( talk ) 21:23, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:Daviddebbiehogan1edites.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned image with no foreseeable encyclopedic use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
