Problems with upload of File:Congressman Mark Siljander.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Congressman Mark Siljander.gif. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator. The photo came from Mark Silander personally. However, as public relations stills for general use, labeled as such exist on his website, www.adeadlymisunderstanding.com, they could be used freely also.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Personal comments[edit]

Hi. Please stop putting personal comments into articles, such as this and this. The article talk pages are the appropriate place for such comments. --jpgordon::==( o ) 23:17, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder why so many wiki pages are showing signs of blatant propagandizing. As for the Siljader photo, it was supplied by Congressman Siljander personally.

Time to take a hard look at some of the misinformation that is now filling wikipedia. There is alot to defend, freedom of speech is one thing but delving into continual bias is something else. Wiki is a great organization and worth defending.

A tag has been placed on Veterans Today requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. June 2010[edit]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Israel Shamir, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. RolandR (talk) 12:29, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Israel Shamir. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Jusdafax 12:32, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Shamir page is a shameful violation of Wiki standards. Accusations of anti-Semitism are, depending on country, actionable and, in themselves, felonies. As Shamir is a resident of the EU, the Wiki article content constitutes a criminal act.

Political control of Wiki by any group is a violation of the spirit of wikipedia. If necessary, we can discuss this on Veterans Today in much greater detail. It will receive the attention it deserves. If you want to discuss this and other issues where Wikipedia is misused, no longer informing but to push forward fringe ideas, please contact me directly at gpduf@aol.com. BTW,you have an interesting webpage. g

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Veterans Today without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Jim1138 (talk) 05:05, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Veterans Today with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Widr (talk) 20:09, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please declare any WP:Conflict of Interest[edit]

Regarding Veterans Today article. It will make it easier to deal with RedHanker's problematic edits if you declare you have one - as others have charged - and thus remove WP:COI-related excuses for such problematic edits. Problems with the article are best discussed on the talk page or by going to relevant WP:Noticeboards. Thanks. CarolMooreDC 18:57, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
