Least absolute deviations

[edit]

I copied your attempt to start a discussion on the stats project talk page to the article's talk page i.e. Talk:Least absolute deviations, which notionally is where the discussion should be ... although there is no reason not to call attention to the question on other discussion pages, as has now been done. I encourage you to undertake some appropriate editing yourself ... perhaps look at several/many other articles to get an idea of the level & style of content generally achieved, and see Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Editor resources as a starting point for how to edit articles containing maths. Hi again, your reply should have gone on my discussion/talk page, rather than my user page, just as this is your talk page. But don't worry about it, we all have to start somewhere. Melcombe (talk) 15:16, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your suggestion that the article Least absolute deviations should contain a simple discussion of how linear programming can be used. I've added that in now. I hope you like it — if you have suggestions for revisions and need help, feel free to respond here or on my talk page. Duoduoduo (talk) 17:38, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
