Hello, Graceharrison14, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Peer Editing

[edit]

Hi Grace! For some of grammar errors, I tried to fix it on your hardcopy.

A suggestion I have for you is organizing your history section into a timeline. If you look at famous celeb wiki pages, they tend to have a section dedicated to important events in their lifetime in chronological order. Maybe you could do that for the section that has paragraphs starting with dates.

Maybe you could hyperlink or explain what self-governance tribe means, so that the audience understands the significance on what it is.

I enjoyed reading your article! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Estell1125 (talkcontribs) 20:56, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Contributions to Rainwater harvesting

Hey there, thank you for your contributions to this article - the reorganization and expansion is good. Just a note though, it should be written from an encyclopaedic point of view and should not be plagiarized - the section on Roman cisterns was copy-pasted from the source listed. Otherwise keep up the good work! SECProto (talk) 05:09, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright/plagiarism

[edit]

Hello, I received a notification that you had posted content that had previously been published elsewhere to your draft article, specifically from this report. This is seen as a copyright issue and plagiarism, even if you were to include the original source as a citation. Always be careful when writing article content - a good way to avoid doing this is to take notes while reading and write your article from those notes.

Unless the material is explicitly marked as falling into the public domain or was released under a compatible Creative Commons license, it should be assumed that the content is copyrighted in a way that would prohibit it from being used verbatim elsewhere. It's always best to write things in your own words, as this can help prevent issues like this from arising. I would like for you to review the module on plagiarism and copyright, thanks.
