Communicate: Independent British Graphic Design since the Sixties[edit]

Hi there. About the article Communicate: Independent British Graphic Design since the Sixties which you have created. I don't wish to discourage you but I was concerned about whether this article meets our notability requirements. In essence, there need to be several reliable third-party sources which provide significant coverage of the event. If you think you can do this, you are very welcome to remove the "proposed deletion" tag I placed on it. Also I didn't quite understand your comment on the talk page of that article ... if you have any questions feel free to ask me. Again, please don't let this comment discourage this. Regards, Martin 07:53, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, regarding your message on my talkpage. I have removed the deletion tag for now (I am always open to be persuaded!). If you could list some more sources, particularly reliable and mainstream ones, then other editors are less likely to think in a similar way to me. About the stub thing, one way is to add a stub template to the bottom of the article. Alternatively you can find a WikiProject which relates to the article and add their project banner to the article talk page. For example, to associate it with WikiProject Graphic design you can add
{{WikiProject Graphic design|class=stub}}
to the talk page. Any other questions, just ask. Martin 08:08, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback[edit]

Hello, Grafista. You have new messages at Gonzonoir's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

The article Jannuzzi Smith has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable company

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 22:45, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have not been here for a while. I therefore note the proposed deletion by Alan_Liefting only now. I have got a few of those since I've joined Wikipedia and, sadly, always on the subject of Graphic Design (perhaps as a subject it is not that well appreciated) and prone to be "deleted". But I am glad to note Phil Bridger contesting the proposed deletion to allow the page to stay. Also pleased to see the page has evolved since it has been created.
