Panning Debitou[edit]

Please take it to the Talk Page and get a consensus before adding that stuff back—it's horribly UNDUE.

Now you're just being a dick, removing citations as well. Continue with this and I'll report it to WP:ANI. Curly Turkey ¡gobble! 10:00, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for finally leaving your name at least.

If there's a Talk page to discuss the Debidou page pls let me know; I don't know where that discussion is supposed to be had. GrandTheftVotto (talk) 10:05, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Debito discretionary sanctions[edit]

Hi GrandTheftVotto. Before you edit the Debito Arudou article further, you should be aware that the article is under discretionary sanctions. I'm leaving a templated message about the sanctions below - please ask me about them if you have any questions. Best — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 10:33, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.

Mr. Stradivarius, thanks for your post; I just found the Talk page for the Debidou page and have left a comment there; would be great if you or someone else could take a look. I have no intention of starting an edit war; I found CurlyTalk's sudden and rather rude move to resort to name-calling a bit extreme....

Warning[edit]

Hello GrandTheftVotto. I read this post that you just made on Talk:Debito Arudou, and remarks like "Arudou is here trying to promote content for the page" and about Debito "willfully lying" are inappropriate. This is not a forum for attacking Dr. Arudou (whatever you may think about the truth of the allegations), it is a forum for improving his Wikipedia article. Wikipedia is not a battleground and the biographies of living persons policy means that we have a responsibility to protect article subjects from harm - even on talk pages. Any further comments that disparage Dr. Arudou and that don't contribute to improving his article will result in a topic ban, so please be careful. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 12:19, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Topic banned[edit]

I warned you yesterday about battleground behaviour related to Debito Arudou, but after your latest post on Debito's talk page it doesn't look like you are willing to heed it. Particularly ominous is the threat to "go and have others work on your page", which sounds like a thinly veiled threat to violate the meatpuppetry policy. Because of this, under the discretionary sanctions authorised by the Arbitration Committee for biographies of living people, you are now indefinitely topic banned from pages relating to Debito Arudou, in all namespaces, broadly construed. You may appeal this topic ban by using the procedure outlined at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions#Appeals and modifications. This sanction is logged at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions/Log/2015#Editing of Biographies of Living Persons. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 09:28, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So your action after you completely misread a comment is....topic ban? Really? Sheesh - and people wonder why nobody wants to be a wiki editor anymore.
