License tagging for Image:MarkWarner.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MarkWarner.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:06, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Redirect of Mark A. A. Warner

Mark Warner

[edit]

I think you misunderstood my point if you think that I was expressing any kind of personal opinion as to Mark Warner's notability vis-à-vis that of El-Farouk Khaki. Warner was up for debate, Khaki wasn't, and my statement made no judgements about notability whatsoever. In fact, I personally agree that they're all notable enough for articles; my comment was addressing the appropriateness of the process that was followed in that case. Scatternet

[edit]

Stub status can be kind of tricky and subjective. There's no easy answer to that; it has as much to do with how comprehensive the article is in covering the subject as how long it is. A relatively short article can be not a stub if it basically says everything that needs to be said about the topic, and a longer one can be still a stub if there's more that can be written about it. I don't know enough about scatternets to tell if the article is comprehensive enough, unfortunately. Bearcat 05:57, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
