List of armed conflicts in 2017[edit]

Hi Graymatter501. Is List of armed conflicts in 2017 a copy-paste move from some other named article? I see you created it on February 1, but it has an orphan tag dated to January and access-dates on the references throughout 2017, which is a bit confusing. It's important to explain in an edit summary and/or on the new article's talk page when you copy from one article to another – see WP:Copying within Wikipedia. If you want to move a whole page, you should use "Move" under the "More" menu, next to "View history". If there's anything I can help with, do let me know. (if you reply, writing {{u|Mortee}} or {{re|Mortee}} will mean I get a notification) Mortee (talk) 01:00, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mortee or whoever is volunteering to help me; I can't understand what an "orphan tag" is. Graymatter501 (talk) 19:34, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the orphan tag a year ago in this edit. It was a maintenance template noting that no other articles link to List of armed conflicts in 2017. In fact it did have links from List of armed conflicts in 2018 and List of ongoing armed conflicts. › Mortee talk 19:44, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Name of Nolwenn Leroy[edit]

Hello Graymatter501,

I saw you changed Nolwenn Leroy’s birth name. The problem is that there are no sources indicating that his birth name is Nolwenn Ar Magerez. Can you tell me where you have a source where the birth would be Nolwenn Ar Magerez, please?

Regards, Jeanne Angerie (talk) 10:50, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jeanne Angerie,
I didn't change her "birth name"; I only added her 'native name', which is of Breton, known as Nolwenn Ar Magerez, which could be translated to French as Nolwenn Le Magueresse. Her birth name was Nolwenn Le Magueresse; the French translation of Nolwenn Ar Magerez. A birth name doesn't necessarily have to be the native name or vice versa. And if you want to know where you could find a source of her native name being Nolwenn Ar Magerez, you could check out her father's Wikipedia article. I hope you understand the difference between a birth name and a native name, if not, please let me know.
