If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Himansh Kohli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 23:35, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

November 2012[edit]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Himansh Kohli. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

As you know, this is not optional when it comes to information about living people. You cannot add such information without a reliable source. 90.229.146.122 (talk) 17:25, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Himansh Kohli. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. bonadea contributions talk 16:28, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the information on the talk page where Qwyrxian explains that Facebook is never an appropriate source for this type of information. Please also note that even if Facebook had been an appropriate source, the source has to be in the article; you added the information without any source, and the existing source does not mention the person's education or family at all. The encyclopedia's readers do not go to the article talk page to find encyclopedic content, and should not be expected to do so either. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 16:32, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Himansh Kohli[edit]

I did not delete the article that you wrote. I deleted a different article written by someone else about the same person a month earlier. I deleted that version because the author had copied the text from somewhere else on the internet in violation of copyright. The version you created was deleted as the result of this discussion. If you want to contest the deletion, or ask further questions about it, then I suggest you talk to the administrator who closed the discussion and deleted the article, User:MBisanz. I just want to add up a comment about what you actually said. If in May 2013 the person does become famous, then we should definitely create and article about him then. That will be a great addition to Wikipedia. But it's very important that we don't try to guess about who will or won't become famous; we can only include people that are already demonstrated to be famous. So, please, don't lose faith in Wikipedia; we just have fairly strict rules about notability. Qwyrxian (talk) 11:30, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Shrik88music for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. bonadea contributions talk 16:10, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
