Discography articles
When your block expires, do not create any more unnecessary discography articles. Aside from using dubious sources and a multitude of WP:BADCHARTS, discography pages are created when an artist releases enough material for the information to be spun off from the main article. There is no need to create separate pages for various singing-talent television competition contestants who have released one album or one/two singles with no album releases. "TBA" and "TBR" listings are not acceptable in tables or discographies. - eo (talk) 12:34, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

I am serious about accepting an WP:OFFER by Kww. I admit to all the account I have created in the past and promise never to create any more again. --Greenock125 (talk) 09:35, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- That's good. The standard offer requires that you do not use alternate accounts to evade your block for six months, and then ask a willing administrator for an unblock. As of now you are at three days. Amalthea 09:50, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I will not use alternate accounts to evade my block for six months. --Greenock125 (talk) 09:53, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- As I said, that's good. Then come back here December 13 and we'll talk. Amalthea 09:55, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Can we not talk now December 13 is ages away, I really want to get this sorted now please. --Greenock125 (talk) 09:57, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I will accept an offer for you to mentor me over the next 6 months. --Greenock125 (talk) 10:01, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- But you said you were willing to accept WP:OFFER, which requires a pause of six months. That you seemingly missed that part is only indicative of the problems that made the probationary unblock of User:Andy593 fail: You simply do not read or do not understand what people tell you. And that won't change over night. Wikipedia has rules, and needs rules to make it work as a collaborative project. You consistently ignore those rules.
I am not willing to try this again at this point, and it is quite obvious that no other administrator is either. Come back in six months, and we'll talk.
Do not evade your block until then or the next step will be a ban, which means that any edits you make while evading your block will be reverted no matter their individual merits.
And that's my last word on the matter. Amalthea 10:08, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I promise to read what peolpe tell me to do, not to ignore the rules. --Greenock125 (talk) 10:13, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I want to accept an offer to be unblocked and to be mentored over the next 6 months, I will do what I am told, read the rules and use the Wikipedia:Sandbox more often. --Greenock125 (talk) 10:48, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I do not want to wait 6 months I really want to get this sorted now, please I'm asking very nicely. --Greenock125 (talk) 11:30, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- I promise to read what peolpe tell me to do, not to ignore the rules. Rule number one is: you need to wait for six months. TFOWR 11:32, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Why do I have to wait six months, why can't we get it sorted now. --Greenock125 (talk) 11:37, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Because you need to demonstrate that you are capable of abiding by the rules. So far you've not done that. If you wait six months it'll show that - at a minimum - you're prepared to respect Wikipedia's rules about WP:Sock puppetry. TFOWR 11:40, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I promise that if I am unblocked I will respect Wikipedia's rules about WP:Sock puppetry. Please give me a chance to prove myself. --Greenock125 (talk) 11:44, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- You are being given a chance to prove yourself: prove that you can respect Wikipedia's rules for six months by not creating new socks. TFOWR 11:47, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Is anybody listening to me. I want to be unblocked and be mentored over six months, I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. --Greenock125 (talk) 11:50, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I really don't want to wait 6 months. I really feel I can be a constructive editor on Wikipedia, I have learned from my mistakes in the past and I just want to be welcomed here. --Greenock125 (talk) 11:54, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- OK, well on the basis that you're not prepared to wait six months, I'm not prepared to either unblock you, or waste any more time trying to help you. TFOWR 11:56, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Deal
I would love to accept an WP:OFFER from Kww to be unblocked and be mentored over the next six months. I promise hand on heart that I will listen to Kww and be a more constructive editor. --Greenock125 (talk) 12:31, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

{{unblock-ip|82.8.212.134}}
- A few points:
- You are not autoblocked, thus it is the wrong template.
- I see no offer from KWW supporting an unblock and mentor ship, so i would like diff for this. Besides, KWW made her last edit on your talk page in August 2009, and 5 more SSP investiagions took place since. I don't think that anything discussed and offered back then can still be considered valid.
- WP:OFFER means that you will have to behave for 6 months before you are unblocked. TFOWR already pointed this out above, and i second his motion that i would not support unblocking you at this time. No more socks till December 13, and i will reconsider.
- So for now, ill TLX the unblock request for being the wrong template, until you can explicitly show that KWW has recently offered to unblock with mentorship. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 13:28, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Why do I have to wait until December to be unblocked do it now please. --Greenock125 (talk) 13:29, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Can I not be unblocked in two months instead. --Greenock125 (talk) 13:31, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- WP:Offer is effectively a community ban for 6 months, during which an editor may not create more sockpuppets to edit Wikipedia. See it as a test to determine if the user really intends to be constructive; 6 months is a long time; if a user does not return afterwards it shows he or she is likely not interested anyway, and if they wish to be malicious creating new socks is easier (though still pointless) then requesting an unblock. In other words, 6 months thus December 13. This will not change no matter the amount of times you ask. Besides - i would still like to see a diff where KWW offered to unblock and mentor you. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 13:38, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- I've pinged Kww, directing them here. They may have more details on the mentorship offer. TFOWR 13:34, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you, that may indeed shed some light on that issue. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 13:39, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- See User talk:Andy593#Blocked, one of Greenock125's alternate accounts. Amalthea 13:44, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you, that may indeed shed some light on that issue. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 13:39, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Greenock125's mentioning of mentorship involves an offer of mentorship that I gave to Andy593 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). That mentorship was short. The editor's behaviour left me convinced that he is not capable of editing Wikipedia at this time, primarily because he doesn't seem to have any idea why his behaviour is unacceptable. I'd be surprised if he's ready to edit in six months, but certainly see no reason to make it shorter.—Kww(talk) 13:44, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Please Kww can we come to a deal were you unblock me and you can mentor me. Please give me one more chance. --Greenock125 (talk) 13:48, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'll do anything you tell me to get unblocked I just want a chance to prove myself. --Greenock125 (talk) 13:50, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- You have your deal - 6 months with no more sockpuppets to get unblocked, and no more sockpuppets after that to stay unblocked. If you wish mentor ship that is fully possible - after you managed to meet the 6 month criteria. By now i would point out that several admins have clearly indicated that they will not unblock you prior to meeting this criteria. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 14:00, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
No I want to be unblocked NOW not in 6 months. I promise not to create any more accounts, listen to advice, read the rules and regulations of Wikipedia. --Greenock125 (talk) 14:09, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Unblock
Alright, so we'll give this another try per User talk:LJB824#Deal.
Understand that this is a probationary unblock. I'm not going to supervise all your edits from now on, but I have a few conditions and expectations:
- Conditions
- I want you to use edit summaries with *every* edit in all namespaces, providing an explanation and context for your change.
- If any editor comes to your talk page with a concern, question, or warning, stop editing immediately and comment on it. Never ignore it, at the very least acknowledge that you have read it. Do not make edits to which that same concern, question, or warning would apply until the underlying issue is resolved to the satisfaction of all parties. If an issue can't be resolved, talk to me.
- If an edit of yours is reverted, discuss! Don't redo the change, or make similar edits to any other articles, unless the underlying issue is resolved to the satisfaction of all parties. If an issue can't be resolved, talk to me.
- Expectations
- I won't add any conditions regarding content, in the assumption that any upcoming issues should be resolvable in a collaborative spirit if you follow the above conditions. I expect that you do your best to amicably resolve any upcoming issues, and to work with other editors in a friendly and constructive manner.
- I expect that you return to editing slowly. Your edits will be under a lot of scrutiny, especially at the beginning. I expect that you take it slowly, preview each of your edits, think about it and be convinced that it is appropriate, make sure it is not controversial and in accordance with policy and guidelines, and make sure your edit summary gives enough context to understand the change.
Please read the above carefully, and acknowledge that you understand. If you have any questions or objections please say so now. Your editing with your IP from a few months ago was largely without issues, so I am very confident that this unblock can work out this time.
If anyone else reading this has concerns, now is the time to voice them.
Amalthea 12:00, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have read the above carefully and I have acknowledged and understood what you have said. I am glad that things have worked out this time, I would like to fully apologies for everything that I have done in the past. I promise I will never create any more accounts. rydogal (talk) 12:34, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- Read it again. With your edit, you have ignored condition 1, and also expectation 2 (if you had carefully previewed your edit you should have noticed that your signature was off).
Note that I'm not trying to bully you with those points, or make your wiki-life harder; I'm trying to make it easier, and facilitate your return to collaborative editing with as few problems as possible. It is crucial that you keep those points in mind with every edit, in particular at the beginning. If necessary, write them on a post-it and stick it on your monitor, so you don't forget. You can also set your account preferences to remind you if you forgot to fill in an edit summary. Amalthea 13:09, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- Read it again. With your edit, you have ignored condition 1, and also expectation 2 (if you had carefully previewed your edit you should have noticed that your signature was off).
Sorry about that I promise I will use the Edit summary when editing pages in the future. rydogal (talk) 13:13, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have brought up several points in my last reply. It seems you have only focused on one part, and ignored everything else I said. This has been a problem in the past. If you don't understand what I'm trying to say, ask. If you disagree, say so. But don't ignore points that are being made. You seem to be hasty, and that's not good. Be careful with every edit. Preview every edit, and think about what you write, and whether that's an appropriate response.
So again, your signature is wrong. You have not corrected it, and apparently you have not noticed it. Explain to me why. Did you preview that reply of yours, like I asked? An honest answer, please. Amalthea 13:32, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I do understand what you are saying I read the points that you said, I am a bit confused with the signature can you please tell me what I am doing wrong with that please, thanks. --rydogal (talk) 13:39, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- Well, it reads "rydogal", which I believe was another account of yours. Or do you intentionally want to have differing account name and signature? It's confusing, in my opinion.
Also, your last edit did not have an edit summary, again. It's not as imperative on a user talk page as it is in main space, but you must make a habit of it, else you'll just continue to forget. Did you search for the option I mentioned in your preferences?
Lastly, you have now violated this simple condition with two out of three edits. If we're already having trouble here I'm starting to have doubts that you can really follow it over a day, a week, a month. The last time we tried an unblock also failed because you could not follow Kww's conditions, despite him and me urging you a couple of times. Do you have an explanation why this is proving so difficult for you? As I said above, maybe it's best if you put it on a piece of paper and look at each point before you press save, like with a checklist.
And, for the love of god, don't be hasty. Before you save your reply, preview your edit, and be convinced that you address *all* my points and questions!
Amalthea 14:01, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I have changed my signature back to Greenock125. Before I do an edit I always do a preview to make sure it is good, and if I have any problems in the future I will talk to you. Greenock125 (talk) 14:07, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I did search for the option in my preferences as you asked me. Greenock125 (talk) 14:11, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- You have not addressed all my points and questions. Amalthea 15:06, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I do not have an explanation to why this is proving so difficult for me. Before I make any edits I always do a preview to make sure the edits I do are ok. I promise I will not be to hasty when editing, is there any other questions you want me to answer. Greenock125 (talk) 15:16, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- This last edit was again missing an edit summary. So even if you found the option in your preferences, you apparently decided not to enable it. And my suggestion of using a checklist for each edit also seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
I despair. You need to get your act together. And we will have to continue this discussion on another day. Amalthea 16:07, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I have got my act together and I am taking up your suggestion of using a checklist for each edit. Greenock125 (talk) 16:14, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi Amalthea, sorry about what happened yesterday I want to try and continue this discussion today and try and get this sorted out. Greenock125 (talk) 07:46, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
I am asking very nicely can you please unblock me I agree to your conditions and expectations, why can't we get this sorted today please can you consider this, thanks. Greenock125 (talk) 11:35, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
You said above that I should write down the points you said on a piece of paper and look at each point before you press save I would do that if I am unblocked. Greenock125 (talk) 17:11, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi Amalthea, can you please stop ignoring me please I am trying to continue this discussion with you but you are not responding why are you doing this, I really just want to get this sorted as soon as possible, can you please consider this and not ignore it, thanks. Greenock125 (talk) 10:48, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
I feel like I'm not getting a chance to prove myself on Wikipedia, as it says on the Main Page "the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit". So please give me a chance, thanks. Greenock125 (talk) 10:52, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- 1) You ask nicely and say you agree with the conditions, yet you ignore them with the very edit. 2) My last post ended with "we have to continue this another day", and I made no other edits over the weekend. That doesn't mean I'm ignoring you. 3) And wow, you feel like you're not getting enough chances? You've had plenty, I'd say. Amalthea 08:54, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, Im sorry about what I said at the weekend and I would love to continue with this discussion and try and get this sorted out, thanks. Greenock125 (talk) 11:18, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- No need to apologize. Convince me that this is going to work. What did you put onto the checklist? Amalthea 13:58, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
I put the conditions and expectations you wrote onto the checklist. Greenock125 (talk) 15:14, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Explain to me why I now find that you edited anonymously last week, thus continued evading your block? Amalthea 15:41, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
I did not edit anonymously last week and evaded my block. Greenock125 (talk) 15:47, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
I admit that I did some editing anonymously last week and evaded my block, but I promise I will never do that ever again. I feel terrible about it and would like to apologize for that, would you forgive me for. Greenock125 (talk) 16:00, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Not good that your first reaction was to lie. I'm happy that you chose to own up to it a short time after.
I have grave doubts that this is going to work out, but I hope for the best. Your account is now unblocked, please make sure to meticulously stick to your checklist.

Comments, Questions, and Concerns
Hi,
a few brief comments:
- Regarding the copyright concern noted below by CorenSearchBot, you have properly cited the quote so it can be seen as fair use, but I would ask that you take another look at the quote and see if it can't be shorted to the most relevant bit. Quoting the whole review may be too much as far as WP:FAIR USE is concerned.
- I know I've said that I want you to reply to all posts from editors on your talk page, but I actually would ask you to address posts by bots as well. Just add a short reply reply so that a visitor to your talk page can see that the concern is resolved, e.g. something like ": License added. ~~~~" to that section by ImageTaggingBot, and some appropriate explanation to the section by CorenSearchBot.
- File:Whatafeeling.jpg is missing the fair use rationale. Please add it.
- Do you have a reliable source that that album is called Magnificent? If so, please add it. If not, well, then that name needs to be removed again.
- Can you explain to me why What a Feeling (Alex Gaudino song) passes WP:NMUSIC? As an uncharted single it doesn't pass the rule of thumb, and from the article I don't see that this one song has in-depth coverage by multiple independent reliable sources. My first impression is that it should be redirected to the article, for now.
As per condition 2, please address my concerns before you continue to edit (If you're right in the middle of editing it's of course OK if you save it)
Amalthea 21:44, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi there I the fair use rationale for File:Whatafeeling.jpg. I have a reliable source saying that the second album from Alex Gaudino is Magnificent [1]. I do agree that the article What a Feeling (Alex Gaudino song) should be redirected to the article, for now. Greenock125 (talk) 21:55, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, my mistake, I guess I didn't take a good enough look at that source regarding the album title.
Two more things, your reply was missing an edit summary, please remember that, and you've have skipped over my first two comments above -- could you address them as well? Amalthea 22:49, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi there regarding the copyright concern noted below by CorenSearchBot. I never copied material directly from the website [2]. Greenock125 (talk) 06:40, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- That's beside the point – you have copied it from a website.
Besides the two sections by bots that I asked you to comment on (again, see my first two points at the top of this section), Courcelles has left you a notice as well. By not commenting on it you have now violated condition 2. I have clearly asked that you never ignore a post on your talk page by another editor, and always must give some reply before you continue editing articles. Comment on it! I want to see that you read messages, and understand why they are being left here.
Note, as always, I expect you to address ALL MY POINTS in your reply. You usually only reply to parts. Amalthea 07:15, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
. I read comment number 2 and I understand why they are being left here. Greenock125 (talk) 07:26, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- Good. Now place a comment in each of the sections below addressing the respective concerns: Say if the concern has merit, and what changes you have made or will make to address them.
It may not make a huge difference in the cases at hand, but I want you to make a habit of it; not commenting on concerns (even templates) is very detrimental to collaborative editing, nobody can see inside your head. So do it now.
This is the fourth time I'm asking this, and it's part of the conditions you agreed to. I won't ask again. Amalthea 07:56, 10 May 2011 (UTC)- For the love of god, do I really need to reinstate the block over this? COMMENT IN EACH OF THE SECTIONS BELOW. What part of that could you have possibly not understood? It's part of your conditions. Each time you see an orange bar, it's a signal for you to go to your talk page, read what's been added since you've been there the last time, and reply! Amalthea 08:43, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Getting Nowhere, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.emmerdale.me.uk/news.php?url=music/singlesreviews/a304550/magnetic-man-ft-john-legend-getting-nowhere.html.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

- I did not copy material directly from [3] I got the information for the Critical reception section from the website Digital Spy [4]. Greenock125 (talk) 08:05, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- To address the underlying concern: While copyrighted material was indeed added to the Getting Nowhere article, it was added as an attributed quote, used per WP:FAIR USE, so it was not improper. To be sure the quote complies with our fair use criteria and is not excessive, Greenock125 has shortened it to only use the most relevant part. Amalthea 08:31, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

- I will check other unlicensed media and please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Greenock125 (talk) 08:47, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- The core point of the above message was that a fair-use image you uploaded is unused and is going to be deleted. In this case, the notice has merit and you don't plan to add it to an article, so it's OK if it gets deleted. I would have expected an answer like "Yes, the article was redirected, image will remain unused for now and can be deleted".

Good job
Well, this is working really well, good job! The only thing I'd wish for is that some of your edit summaries were a bit more descriptive. E.g., instead of just "Improved" or "Correction", add a few bullet points what exactly the edit improved or corrected. In case of Numbers In Action the edit summary of "Improved article" was actually a bit misleading since the main change was to replace the redirect by an actual article; I would have written something like "Restored and expanded article, single has charted".
Oh, and I've configured an archive bot for your talk page, it's going to check your page from time to time and automatically move all sections older than one month to an archive subpage.
Cheers, Amalthea 14:35, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, thanks for the comments I agree with what you said. Greenock125 (talk) 15:12, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Notability of songs
Hi,
you know the rule of thumb for which songs should have stand-alone articles and which shouldn't. Why did you decide to write articles on Quédate Conmigo, Momentos de Navidad, and Hard Times (Plan B song)?
Amalthea 10:08, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, I honestly don't know why I created them three articles. The two articles Quédate Conmigo and Momentos de Navidad fails WP:NSONGS because it has not charted, Hard Times (Plan B song) could pass WP:NSONGS if it charts on the UK Singles Chart. Greenock125 (talk) 15:29, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Caro Emerald Discography
You recently changed the design of Caro Emerald's Discography, the only thing the line under:
2011 "Riviera Life"[21] 18 99 — — — — — — — —
Is missing. Would you please correct that? I would have done it, but I don't know how, so please place a line beneath it.
You also deleted multiple sources. So some chart positions don't have a source anymore. Please corret it.

- Greenrock, you seem to have addressed these concerns, but remember that I asked you to reply to each and every comment left for you on your talk page? You forgot to do this here. A comment like "You're right, I'll fix this, thanks for the note" or a "Fixed, thanks" would have been sufficient. Amalthea 07:18, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, Sorry about that I will remember in the future to leave a comment. Greenock125 (talk) 07:26, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
This single is not notable. Please provide references that establish its notability. --StrikerforceTalk Review me! 10:19, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- These two reference [5] [6] establish its notability. Greenock125 (talk) 10:28, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- No, unfortunately, they do not. The simple existence of a song does not necessarily establish its notability, per NSONGS. StrikerforceTalk Review me! 10:39, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Also, the second reference provided would not provide notability because it is a source provided by the band itself, via its record label / promotion company, per USERG. StrikerforceTalk Review me! 10:41, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Strikerforce: WP:NSONGS says that "Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts [...] are probably notable". It's only a rule of thumb, but should be enough of an indication of notability to at least earn it an AfD (and back when I was active there it was usually enough to pass it). Amalthea 10:44, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- True. In my opinion, I don't believe that a ranking of #134 should be sufficient enough to pass muster, but that's a policy question that should probably be addressed in the proper venue, which of course is not here. If Greenock125 would like to revert me under that rationale, I'll accept it. I may then choose to send the article to AfD, but that's a bridge to cross when / if we come to it. StrikerforceTalk Review me! 10:57, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Those are links to shops. Why do you think they establish encyclopedic notability of the song? I also don't like your revert, see condition 3. Strikerforce's concern was explicit. Why did you revert without discussion? Amalthea 10:44, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- No, unfortunately, they do not. The simple existence of a song does not necessarily establish its notability, per NSONGS. StrikerforceTalk Review me! 10:39, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, I done the revert because I think the song is notable but I now know should not have done this. Also the band performed the song at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend [7]. Greenock125 (talk) 10:54, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Here's an issue that I have with the performance part of the guidelines... in theory, one could make a reasonable argument that any song performed at any concert could qualify. After all, some concerts are recorded for later distribution via DVD release or online broadcast. Wouldn't that then make every song performed at that concert notable? But, again, this is possibly an oversimplified and perhaps incorrect interpretation of the guidelines that would need to be addressed in the proper forum. StrikerforceTalk Review me! 10:59, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, I agree with what you said. When the single has been released the article could be reinstated. Greenock125 (talk) 13:07, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Favor
Though we appreciate your enthusiasm... you've created Favor (Lonny Bereal song) way too early. Per WP:NSONGS it is not notable so it has been redirected to Lonny Bereal. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 18:52, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I have created Favor (Lonny Bereal song) too early, the song is not notable. Greenock125 (talk) 18:56, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- The same goes for:
- A few sections above, at #Notability of songs, we talked about just that topic. You know the very simple rule of thumb to judge notability of a song. Why do still continue to create standalone articles about them when they clearly fail that rule? Remember: "Do not make edits to which that same concern, question, or warning would apply until the underlying issue is resolved to the satisfaction of all parties." I've brought a concern to your talk page, and you continue to make edits to which that same concern applies. You are violating that part of your conditions!

Edit summaries
"reworked discography" is NOT an edit summary. especially when you remove sourced contents for no reason. stop doing it. Mister sparky (talk) 14:27, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- I agree, please be more specific. You also keep creating song articles like Till I'm Gone that make no attempt at passing WP:NSONGS -- see also my previous reminder above, where you did not deign to reply. You also restored Techno Fan a second time, despite lasting concerns to its notability, instead of resolving the concerns on a talk page.
I have unblocked this account with some clear conditions regarding your behavior. You are beginning to ignore those conditions on a regular basis, and the concerns with your edits and conduct become more frequent. It appears to me you are returning to the same patterns that got you blocked countless times before. The conditions I tied to your unblock were meant to prevent that. Follow them meticulously, and you won't have a problem. Don't, and I will not hesitate to undo my good-faith unblock.
Amalthea 15:23, 12 June 2011 (UTC)- Hi there, I'm sorry about that I promise I will follow the the conditions meticulously in the future. Greenock125 (talk) 15:30, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Well, you've promised that a couple of times before. Just do it. And there are several more points made above that I expect you to address. Amalthea 15:33, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hi there, I'm sorry about that I promise I will follow the the conditions meticulously in the future. Greenock125 (talk) 15:30, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
Blocked again
Enough is enough. No answer to my comment in the section above, which is a Violation of your unblock condition #2. Continuing to restore articles that do not pass the rule of thumb from WP:NSONGS, despite me reverting you and questioning you about it, and the situation not resolved in favor of you creating such articles, is a violation of your unblock condition #3.
You are not listening. You show the exact same behavior that led to your many many blocks. I'm not going to plead with you any more. A three-day time-out as a warning shot. The next one will be three weeks. Amalthea 20:02, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, I will take time out to think about what I have done, I should have not restored the article In the Dark (Dev song) I could have waited until the song became more notable and charted, I feel like an idiot at the moment and I promise I will never do it again. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. you're still doing it. "reworked discography" is not an acceptable edit summary when you are removing content and changing things for no reason! stop it. - Hi there, I understand what you said and I will stop using "reworked discography" as an edit summary in the future. Greenock125 (talk) 17:17, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- Mister sparky asks you to be more precise: You certainly can and should use that edit summary if you are only rearranging or reformatting it without changing the meaning. If you also remove or add parts, or change the structure significantly enough to change the meaning, make that clear in the edit summary. Amalthea 17:28, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- Mister Sparky: Are you referring to this edit, which you reverted? I agree with your undo, to be sure, but see don't see that information was removed here?
I also note that a good-faithed edit can never be vandalism, as you called it, a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia.
Amalthea 17:28, 18 June 2011 (UTC)- ok maybe vandalism for that edit was a bit harsh. but edit is vandalism. removing a perfectly reliably sourced chart column for no reason. Mister sparky (talk) 18:31, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
OK I promise I will not remove a perfectly reliably sourced chart column for no reason ever again. Greenock125 (talk) 18:33, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Non-notable songs, the fourth
I don't see that they are notable. Explain to me why you think they pass WP:NSONGS. And I really hope you can, because if you cannot, it means you have ignored a concern that I brought up on your talk page three times before. You said "I promise I will never do it again". It seems "never" lasted for six days.
Your comments? Amalthea 11:36, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, I think they can both pass WP:NSONGS if they both enter the UK Singles Chart. "Badman Riddim (Jump)" was number 6 on the BBC Radio 1 Official Chart Update, "Shuffle (Bombay Bicycle Club song)" could enter the UK Singles Chart as well. They do not pass WP:NSONGS at the moment but they could if it charts. Greenock125 (talk) 14:22, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- That's WP:CRYSTAL. As long as a topic does not pass the notability guidelines, it should not have a standalone article. You know that. You also know the two articles linked above don't pass WP:NSONGS, yet went ahead and created the article nonetheless. You continue to ignore community guidelines.
Creating articles on non-notable singles played a big part in your previous blocks. Obviously, you have learned nothing from that. You also continue to ignore the unblock conditions, I brought this very concern to your talk page three times before, and you keep making edits where that same concern applies. I'm tired of having to check your contributions for that. The rule of thumb noted in WP:NSONGS is very simple, you could follow it if you wanted to.
So final warning: Next time you ignore WP:NSONGS by creating an article for a sing that didn't chart on a notable chart or doesn't make a strong case for passing WP:NSONGS otherwise, I'll end this probationary unblock for good. Amalthea 15:08, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Stay Awake (song) majorly fails WP:NSONGS yet again. Mister sparky (talk) 20:54, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
- I did not create the article Stay Awake (song) it was Tegzieshaw, why are you blaming me for this article when I never created it, also the article can be re-directed to Example (rapper) instead of deleting the article. Greenock125 (talk) 21:04, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
- I must agree with Greenrock here, I find no fault in cleaning up an article, even if it does not pass WP:N/WP:NSONGS. That edit was an improvement. Amalthea 21:07, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Please do not create non-notable single pages simply to link the infobox chain. In the absense of a song article one needs to link to the discography. When "Collide" is released and charts, then we'll create an article for it. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 22:07, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

Nomination of In the Dark (Dev song) for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article In the Dark (Dev song) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/In the Dark (Dev song) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Amalthea 10:30, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

Yes, the article was redirected, image will remain unused for now and can be deleted. Greenock125 (talk) 09:15, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
The article Parachutes (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Individual songs aren't notable without notability beyond mere album references. Moreover, a number of other songs/albums/bands with the same name... if this was redirected needs to be a disambiguation page.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Shadowjams (talk) 22:38, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

- Then why did you create it, if you think that? Amalthea 07:22, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Rhydian article
Dear Greenock125, Let me apologise first, for I undid one of your revisions to Rhydian. Before you, some individual with a numeric name had destroyed almost all the headings - and by definition, the brilliant (if I say so myself) organisation -- of this article. I am sorry to have leapt to the conclusion that it was you. I have single-handedly (almost) worked on both content and organisation of this article, recently putting in a marathon re-organisation of it which required 32 edits.
I have spent much time not only on this article, but on various others over the years, and while not an Admin, I hope that I have contributed usefully. Please go back into the article and "re-improve" it with whatever it was you were doing. I have undone the two virtually vandalising edits that did away with the useful subsections of this article; all the material had been collapsed into one section, "Biography," making the article unwieldy.
Please restore your helpful changes (I am not sure what they are, but they must be helpful); please accept my apologies; and please put a "Watch" on the article. You may reply if wished to my talk page.
With many thanks, best wishes and hope you are having a good week. FClef (talk) 23:30, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
I have read what you said and I accept your apologies. Greenock125 (talk) 06:54, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Hello there - a user called Amalthea has kindly re-edited so as to restore both your improvements and my headings. (But you probably know this by now.) Cheers, FClef (talk) 09:51, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Cry (Just a Little)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Cry (Just a Little) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ... discospinster talk 00:17, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Image-Dalmalley(1).jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Image-Dalmalley(1).jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Can you please explain how So Nice (James Cottriall song) meets the notability criteria at WP:NSONG? noq (talk) 16:22, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
It meets the notability criteria at WP:NSONG because it has charted at number 24 on the Austrian Singles Chart. It says under WP:Songs "Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable." Better source request for File:Måndagsbarn.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Måndagsbarn.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 23:47, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Repost of Template:Foster the People

If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You see an orange bar, you open your talk page, check what it is about, and reply with your thoughts about it. It's not difficult, takes little time. Why are you unable to do this?
But back to the templates: Am I seeing this correctly, you just ignore the deletion discussions and the concerns brought up there, and keep on creating new ones where the same concerns apply? Like Template:Marlon Roudette, Template:U-Jean, Template:The 2 Bears? Again, per your unblock conditions, you must not ignore concerns brought to you, and you must not continue to make edits of the same kind until it is resolved. Why do you keep violating them?
Amalthea 11:55, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
I have read what you have said and I will make sure to engage in deletion discussions for templates in the future and reply to notices on my talk pages. Greenock125 (talk) 12:09, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- It seems you've also stopped providing edit summaries? You should always summarize and explain what changes you made. Remember unblock condition 1.
And even though I brought it up five days ago you continue to create templates of the exact same kind like those that are currently under discussion. For example, Template:Michael Kiwanuka provides navigation for one album and two songs. Template:SuperHeavy, which is currently in a deletion discussion, has the same amount of albums and singles. - I think you are doing good work with the song articles you create. It seems only few songs are being deleted or redirected. I'm very happy about that. My guess is that it works so well with song articles because you have a strict "has charted" test you can apply.
- I propose a similarly strict test for navboxes: From now on, only create a navbox template if it can reasonably be used on six or more articles. For navboxes of contemporary music bands: Band article + Number of notable band members with article + Number of notable albums with article + Number of notable songs with article ≥ 6.
- For example: Template:R.I.O. and Template:James Blake singles are OK, but Template:Fun and Template:Alyssa Reid would not be. Agreed?
- Amalthea 14:23, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi there, From now on I will provide edit summaries and will stop creating templates of the exact same kind like those that are currently under discussion and will only create templates with six or more articles in the future. Greenock125 (talk) 17:39, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- OK, let me know if you find one where you think that limit is wrong.
And note that I wrote that an edit summary should summarize the edit and (if its not self-explanatory) explain why you did it? An edit summary of "improved" is nearly worthless, I would hope that every article edit improves the article in some way. A good one for that edit would have been something like: "Changed infobox to use dedicated EP parameter for extended plays, for standardization". With a summary like that, your change is summarized, and even with reasoning for why that change is an improvement.
Amalthea 19:13, 20 February 2012 (UTC) - The reason why I wrote that edit is because I didn't know what to put in the edit summary. I will try to provide a better reason for any edit I make. Greenock125 (talk) 19:27, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Removal of information on Mohombi
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jawadreventon (talk) 01:16, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Inappropriate warning, the content was moved to Mohombi discography. However, Greenock125:
- Your edit might not have been misunderstood if you had left a proper edit summary explaining your change. Since you keep forgetting I'll again recommend to activate the "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" checkbox in your preferences.
- When you copy content within Wikipedia, it is necessary to attribute where you copied the content from. Per Wikipedia:COPYWITHIN#Proper attribution it is, again, sufficient to use a detailed edit summary with a link to the source page. Not doing that is a license violation. Please remember.

Orphaned non-free image File:BlueJeansLana.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:BlueJeansLana.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 12:10, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
The article Angel (musician) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Does not meet the WP:MUSICBIO guidelines.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bgwhite (talk) 20:05, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Anywhere in the World
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Anywhere in the World requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:MaciejPrzepiórkiewicz.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:MaciejPrzepiórkiewicz.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
Stefan2 (talk) 12:46, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:JoshKumra.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:JoshKumra.jpg, which you've sourced to http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=223875804323744&set=a.209096042468387.57949.209095902468401&type=1&theater. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:18, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:BoysDon'tCrySpecial.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:BoysDon'tCrySpecial.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 22:20, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Creating Pages
Hi Geenock,
You've reverted by redirecting of several pages recently. I'd like to draw your attention to WP:NMUSIC, the notability guideline for articles relating to music. I assume you've created a page for How Deep Is Your Love (Sean Paul song) because it meets the criteria which says "Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts". However you're missing the next line which says Notability aside, a separate article on a song is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album. As there's no information regarding a music video, only a limited digital release and notability on major chart and one minor chart, the article really isnt required. Two sentences at the album's page would suffice as the article does little beyond telling you when the single was released, and that it charted on two charts. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 17:41, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- Additionally if you're gonna revert someone without citing a good reason./policy/guideline its a good idea to leave an explaination. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 17:47, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

DYK for Last Night (Lucy Spraggan song)
On 6 September 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Last Night (Lucy Spraggan song), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Lucy Spraggan's song "Last Night" reached number eleven in the UK charts despite being pulled midweek? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Last Night (Lucy Spraggan song). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. - Hello, Greenock125. Regarding this nomination, you recently closed the AFD and removed the AFD tag from the article. I've reverted both actions, since the AFD should only be closed after a discussion period of at least 7 days, and it shouldn't be closed by any editor involved with the article or the discussion. You are of course welcome to participate in the discussion and offer your opinion on why the article should be kept. Best regards — Frankie (talk) 16:53, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Uncle Milty. I noticed that you recently removed some content from The Power of Love (Frankie Goes to Hollywood song) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:NeverTearUsApart.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:NeverTearUsApart.jpg.
Thank you. Odie5533 (talk) 10:48, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Not Giving In
Hello Greenock125,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Not Giving In for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Modern.Jewelry.Historian (talk) 04:18, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
West Bromwich Albion F.C. - European record
Regarding your edit to West Bromwich Albion F.C., I don't think it is necessary to add the results of individual European matches to the main article. It is too much detail, especially given that Albion did not progress past the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup or Cup Winners Cup. I have previously removed this section and noted this on the talk page. If you disagree, let's discuss at Talk:West Bromwich Albion F.C.#West Brom in Europe. The article 110% (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no claim of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.188.73.250 (talk) 15:01, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

Hey, Greenock125. Ideally, the different columns of the chart tables should be in the same order as listed in the description above the table, which in the case of the "Albums" table reads "List of studio albums, with selected chart positions, sales figures and certifications". So the sales figures column should be returned to its original position. Also, setting the chart abbreviation text size to 90% instead of 85 dramatically improves readability, in my opinion, as the text appears far more boldly and clearly (WP:DISCOGSTYLE advocates it to, as well as most of the other editors I deal with).
I've reverted your changes for now: if you want to discuss them further, I'm happy to do so on my own talk page. I Am Rufus • Conversation is a beautiful thing. 09:32, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

Bo Bruce
Hi there, I'm wondering if you could just clarify your reasoning for removing the info box for Search The Night on the Bo Bruce page? The page Search The Night was nominated for deletion and a decision was made to merge the article with the Bo Bruce page, which means that the STN article will be deleted shortly as I have already completed the merge, so should the info box not remain now on the Bo Bruce article?
Thanks for your help! Gracec250 (talk) 10:28, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi, I did not know that Search The Night was going to be merged into the Bo Bruce page and the info box can remain on the Bo Bruce article. --Greenock125 (talk) 15:06, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks - but surely the track listing should also remain in the discography section of the Bo Bruce article too? As this is where that kind of information is displayed unless the release has its own article. Gracec250 (talk) 15:27, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
I have put the track listing back in the discography. --Greenock125 (talk) 15:32, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:The-Art-of-Doing-Nothing.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:The-Art-of-Doing-Nothing.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:07, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
Before I Sleep (album)
Hi, I've just noticed you've changed the peak chart position on Before I Sleep from no.6 to no10. Surely the highest position should be used as this was in fact the peak position of the release? Gracec250 (talk) 18:36, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
The album has entered the UK Albums Chart at #10 not #6.[9] Greenock125 (talk) 19:33, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

European records.
Hi there. I just noticed your edit to IL Hødd, and while I appreciate every attempt to improve the encyclopedia, I believe it is too soon for this section in this article as Hødd has not yet played any matches in Europe. Wouldn't it better to atleast wait until the draw is made to add this section (or add a new column in every existing section in other articles)? Cheers, Mentoz86 (talk) 12:50, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
