ArbCom 2019 election voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:10, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

Genius as a source

Hi. As it, like Wikipedia, is written by its users, Genius isn't a reliable source. —Biscuit-in-Chief :-) (TalkContribs) 19:40, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Truth Over Magnitude, you may be blocked from editing. More unsourced genre additions to articles you've created or not will result in you being reported to an admin. This has been going on for far too long. Ss112 07:56, 4 December 2019 (UTC)

Deletion of chart statistics

On the page for "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" you didn't leave an edit summary as to why you undid my expansion of the Weekly Charts section that gave a year-by-year detailing of the song's chart statistics in each country and gave a much greater sense of the increase in popularity that it has had over the past decade. Christmas songs are now being tracked each holiday season, and their peak positions are just as relevant as indicating a television show's placement in the Nielsen ratings each season that it's on the air. I was wondering if you would explain your decision to erase this information. Thanks. Danaphile (talk) 00:26, 9 December 2019 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on LadBaby. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ss112 18:00, 20 December 2019 (UTC)

Why can you not remember things you've been told numerous times...?

Namely, to not create song articles for artists you like but that have actually received significant news coverage per WP:NSONGS? The song Gabrielle Aplin and JP Cooper made is not notable. You cited press releases with quotes from Aplin (WP:PRIMARY), a YouTube video and a New Zealand component chart. Doesn't warrant an article. Furthermore, when you split discographies, like Bombay Bicycle Club discography and Jonas Blue discography, you do not just leave the discography section of the artist's article blank with only a link to the split discography page. You list their studio albums and the years they were released. It is not difficult. I have told you this at least twice before. This is the last time I'm going to tell you this. I am sick of explaining the same things to you, and when you forget to do them, it's back to square one again. Ss112 10:41, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

You are right I should not just leave the discography section of the artist's article blank with only a link to the split discography page. I should list their studio albums and the years they were released. I will make sure to do this in the future. But you are wrong about the article I created for the Gabrielle Aplin and JP Cooper song "Losing Me". You created an article for her pervious single "Nothing Really Matters". The song has not charted on any music chart and only has two sources. So don't tell me the article I created fails WP:NSONGS, when the article you created, "Nothing Really Matters" also fails WP:NSONGS. Greenock125 (talk) 11:03, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

Also you said for "Losing Me", I just quoted press releases (Vents Magazine and Stereoboard), but from what I can see those websites have been used in many articles on Wikipedia [1] [2]. Plus you also said CelebMix is not reliable, but from what I can see it's been used in many articles [3]. Greenock125 (talk) 13:22, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

Into the Unknown

When exactly did it shift from being just a song to a single? Arjoccolenty (talk) 21:57, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
