userpage vandalism[edit]

Thanks for reverting that userpage vandalism; I guess that anon isn't too happy with me :). --Spangineeres (háblame) 03:26, 23 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Anon. would be much happier if the page on Elizabeth Morgan reflected fact. It contains inaccuracies and considerable amounts of bias. She was not sent to prison for two years; she was sent to the District of Columbia jail for 22 months. She and Foretich met at Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. He was still married at the time and had lied to her about being divorced. Your page includes several citations that support Foretich's viewpoint and few if any supporting Elizabeth. This makes it slanted and incorrect. If you want to be seen as an authoritative source you need to correct these.

I really haven't made any anti-Indian editing, you can check that if you want. As for pro-Islamic, I work a lot on Islamic articles, but I mostly revert vandalism and discuss minor edits. --a.n.o.n.y.m t 21:21, 24 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Can you give me a hand?[edit]

You're an admin, so i have a question, if you know the answer. Can users be deleted on Wikipedia? A few months ago i placed a "test" warning on 24.84.36.230's user page, and i set myself to watch them. Yet, when i went back today to check if they had vandalized again, they had no contributions? Is this my mistake, or can people's accounts be deleted? Thanks! --Quadraxis 01:58, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Could you help with the article of the legal term "fair comment"?[edit]

I noticed that you are interested in law. Well quite some time aga I started an article called "fair comment". I must confess it was a way for me to get the fact out that "fair comment" is actually a legal term. This is now an established fact. However the article itself did not fare so well in the process. I was accused of mischaracterising the actual meaning of "fair comment" and the article was ... "modified"... While this in itself is not such a bad thing I have checked the newest version of the article and found some logical errors. In a long post I pointed out that I did not mischaracterised the meaning of "fair comment" and that there are logical inconsistancies in the last paragraph of the newest version...

I have however not edited the article since I started the original version and following the politicaly charged climate i do not intend to do so in the future.

Would you therefore please review my observations and conclusions?

For the sake of the article especially the logical errors are important, you can find my views about them under the following headline on the article talkpage:

1.6 "Following this sentance by sentance analysis I make these observations" and there observation number 3.

Most of the post is just to show that I did not mischaracterised the meaning of "fair comment".

Thank you in advance --Zirkon 12:05, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Note about category markup[edit]

Hi Greg, I just thought I'd drop you a note after browsing your userpage. If you add a colon immediately after the first set of double brackets for a category, it acts as a link to that category page and does not place the page into the category. For example, [[:Category:Stubs]] results in Category:Stubs. These may be piped as normal, such as Stubs. Cheers, BanyanTree 01:16, 5 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

a speedy needed[edit]

An anon IP made a disambig page at Jack Whittaker, since there is a Canadian MP with the name in addition to the lottery winner. They, however, did a cut and paste move to Jack Whittaker (Virginian) for the lottery guy. This was an incorrect way to move the article, obviously, and is innaccurate, considering he is from West Virginia. I worked with the article and moved it in a proper manner to Jack Whittaker (lottery winner) and corrected the disambig. I believe the Jack Whittaker (Virginian) article meets the requirements for speedy, since it is a duplicate of an article in an accurate namespace, has no edit history, and is not linked to. Hey, I blocked the user you removed from the list as you were removing it.
