A tag has been placed on Trade Development Trust, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Trade Development Trust, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:17, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Trade Development Trust. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. [edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:38, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies

[edit]

My apologies if I have given you a poor impression of Wikipedia. Wikipedia can be a very useful source of information and, as an editor, you can help make it even better. However, it really helps to know the guidelines before you jump in. Your first article violated those guidelines and was tagged as such. I'm sorry that you chose to react defensively to that. To all appearances from reading your comments on the talk page, one would believe that you were affiliated with the Trade Development Trust. If you are not, I apologize again for misunderstanding.

If you would like to try to write the article again, I would suggest writing it in your own user space (at User:Gregory Helvering/Trade Development Trust for example). Then you can solicit opinions from other users as to whether the article is ready for publication at Wikipedia. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:47, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
