Battle of Verplanck's Point[edit]

Hello. Wikipedia requires sources for all content. Please add appropriate sources to Battle of Verplanck's Point or it will be deleted. --- RockMFR 01:42, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm disputing the content of the article, and will put it up for deletion if my concerns are not answered; I doubt the sources say what you claim they say. Discuss on the article talk page, please. Magic♪piano 21:02, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Now proposed for deletion. Magic♪piano 14:56, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Lundy's Lane article[edit]

Hello, please do not remove properly referenced material in an article, as you did in Battle of Lundy's Lane and replace it with an unreferenced claim. As a courtesy to other editors, potentially controversial claims should be discussed first on the article's talk page before being added to an article. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 00:45, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Battle of the Clouds, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Deconstructhis (talk) 00:51, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Battle of Staten Island. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Deconstructhis (talk) 00:54, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of James Boyd (Loyalist)[edit]

A tag has been placed on James Boyd (Loyalist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Could you please add some references to this article to demonstrate that this was a real person and that they meet the notability standards for Wikipedia articles. Thanks, Nick-D (talk) 02:19, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one week in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeatedly creating hoax articles such as Taukkyan Roadblock and Battle of Pegu.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Nick-D (talk) 08:40, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009[edit]

Please do not add hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did in the article Taijiro Aoki. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method is to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please don't disrupt Wikipedia in an attempt to test our ability to detect and remove such material. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia policy to learn more about this project and how you can make a positive impact. Thank you. Hello - please note that while this person is certainly notable, the article as it was created was full of factual inaccuracies leading some to say that it was a hoax. Please be sure to carefully source your contributions.  7  03:24, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked indefinitely[edit]

As it appears that you are continuing to create articles and make edits that are of questionable credibility, I have blocked you indefinitely; I and other administrators will consider lifting this block if you can provide a sufficient explanation for your edits thus far, and why they are a mixture of nonsense, apparent hoaxes, and good edits. I suggest following the steps for appealing a block and explaining yourself through an unblock request. Tony Fox (arf!) 03:53, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Rikichi Tsukada, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
