Vandalism of my user page

[edit]

Thanks for the super speedy revert of my vandalised user page! Keep up that RC Patrol!Pedro |  Talk  15:50, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you restore the older warnings? This is a school ([1]), and the person who just vandalised is likely not the person the other warnings, made over a month ago, were intended for. --NE2 16:57, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's my understanding that warnings for vandalism, test edits, ect should be left in place for future editors or admins making a block decision. Gtg204y 17:06, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Since those warnings are so old, admins would not take them into account. --NE2 17:08, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've added Template:SharedIPEDU to the page, however I still feel the old warnings should be left in place. Gtg204y 17:15, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pay attention to what you're reverting, please.

It's enough I have to clean up after bored children at school. HalfShadow 18:25, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, I noticed the additional vandalism after the first revert and ended up putting it back in trying to fix it, my fault entirely Gtg204y 18:26, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hello, I am not sure how to contact you hopefully this works......I need your help with my page.

Thanks

[edit]

Thanks for keeping an eye on Macedonians (Greek). That IP is most likely a sockpuppet of banned User:Pulvis angelus a.k.a. User:Macedonia.eu a.k.a. User:87.119.119.37 and many more. Look, he even does the characteristic "fix" edit summary when removing material [2][3][4]. Is it possible to get him blocked?--Domitius 14:10, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

[edit]

Heh heh...the vandalism was just out of some random streak of mischief...sorry 'bout that. Camelcast 14:52, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Message left on userpage

[edit]

yesterday i wrote an article on nuglasses, as it was my first submission I spent several hours viewing other similar submissions and attempted to make my submission similar. When I submitted it I immediately got a speedy deletion notice. I then placed a hangon and left a message on what I thought was the correct talk page explaining my actions and detailing the two sites in particular I had based my submission on. This morning I can't find the page nuglasses or any response. Can you please explain what I have done wrong and what is going on? Serico 06:10, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We aren't trying to violate any of the rules. We will to do whatever we need to to comply, we just want people to know about this incredible technology. If you could give me any other feed back that would be great thanks Aparcalo 20:01, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing

[edit]

I am having a hard time with the {{hangon}} which page do I put it at the top of? There is no page, it was a speedy deleted, can you help me?Aparcalo 20:36, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bozell

[edit]

Why did you just revert my edits to the Bozell/Bozell Worldwide page. I only put things up that are true. What is wrong with that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Swept14 (talkcontribs) 14:19, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I read some more of what you posted on my account. I do work for the company in the article, so there may be a conflict of interest. But, I have a lot of good information, honest, information that I would like to post. Again, what is wrong with that? I don't want to get blocked, I just want to know the right way in going about this.

Thanks,
Swept14 14:26, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that maybe what I added was too long and I will definitely remove the "Founder's Story Section", but I do think that other sections are relevant such as history and portfolio. We are an advertising agency and showing some of our examples is the most relevant thing that I can think of.

Thanks,

Focus Point Press entry

[edit]

hey, how's it going? with regard to the focus point press entry I have been working on-- I understand your concern for individuals writing about companies that may seem irrelevant or not notable. However, this is journalistic trade publication covering a niche financial market. I believe this is worthy of mention in a worldy encyclopedia for a of the reasons I mention in the article in the 3rd and 5th paragraphs.

I have spent some time reading a lot of guidelines of notability and speedy deletion. Some other admins have even sided with me and declined speedy deletion. What other references, besides those that I have provided, are necessary? I would like to clarify this in an effort to improve the entry. Thanks for your time --Stdalton 13:27, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mario

[edit]

No I agree, by all means trim the lead, its too long, but the "mario mario" naming stuff is uncited in the lead, and cited in the body of the text, and you deleted the cited information....I say keep the reference in the body of the text that has sources and cut it out of the lead where it is unsourced. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
