Your submission at Articles for creation: Waternook (July 7)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Hoary was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: If this place was "famously once owned by the Wedgwood family [25 March 1907 to 14 December 1933]" (unreferenced), then there'll be a great number of reliable, independent, published sources attesting to it. Hardly surprising that it "is clearly marked on the [sic] OS map": squillions of places are. And there's also "Part of Waternook's grounds, ‘the meadows’, have been recognised by expert ecologists [unspecified] as having real conservation value [of unspecified kinds] so have been deemed by Cumbria Wildlife Trust as a ‘County Wildlife Site’ within the Lake District National Park" (unsourced). These three claims appear to be the pretty much the only ones made here for this patch of land: the rest is about the wider area. This whole draft smacks of estate-agent-speak, aiming for a kind of distinction by association/allusion. This is unsurprising when we realize that this is the same "Waternook" as the subject of this unbridled promotional gush (sorry, only visible to administrators), very properly deleted by NawlinWiki back in 2012. The current draft is very much more discreet; but if it were somehow allowed to become an article it would just become a soft-sell PR puff for the commercial enterprise at waternookonullswater dot com.
