From the comments you left on my talk page. "You dont have right to interfere in Gujjar history and its personalities I think you have much better things to do.". I still do not think you fully appreciate that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It does not matter whether I am Jatt or not. All that matters is that the rules of Wikipedia are adhered to. Thank you for uploading File:Govind singh Gurjar.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:12, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Indian rebellion of 1857

[edit]

I'm not going to revert you again, but I suggest you discuss this on the talk page of the article (i.e., at Talk:Indian rebellion of 1857) rather than on the talk page of individual users. The fact that blueknight and I have reverted it doesn't mean that the material shouldn't be in the article. All it means is that it should be discussed before you add it to the article. For various reasons, I don't think it fits (too detailed for that particular article) and feel that perhaps the entire Delhi during the mutiny part can be spun off into a separate article, where information of this sort can be included. But, like I said, that's better discussed on the article talk page. --RegentsPark (talk) 03:21, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Role of Gurjars People and soldiers in 1857 Revolt

[edit]

This is the small description which i added on that page, because without that inclusion the real fact can not be come to this world. The indian government and British gazzete tell this story. The revolt which started at Meerut fueled by the Gurjars villagers and policeman. Still Meerut is a majority city of Gurjars. And this is impossible to anyone to revolt without the help of local peoples. Gurjars of Bijnor were fighting under the leadership of Gurjar leaders Kadam Singh and Dulal Singh. In the whole revolt Gurjars were fighting along with the Muslims. Gurjars in Mathura and Agra region also fought against the British and gave them a horrible period. That is why when the revolt ended, the properties of the Gurjars were impounded. Gurjars in Ludhiyana, Firozpur, Gujaranwala, Sialkot, Gujarat, Jalandhar district, Kangada revolt against the British and tried to end the British rule but when the revolt failed, the properties were impounded by the British. Hundreds of villages in district Bulandshahar were ruined by the Britishers but Gujjars fought with full strength. Not only had the Britishers declared Gujjars as criminal tribe by defining Criminal Tribes Act. However, in the freedom struggle of India, Gujjars were working as the main leaders of the Non Cooperation Movement of Mahatma Gandhi in the country. History states that there were freedom fighters in each and every single Gujjar village of the country.

So this should be included in this article. Without Gurjars/Gujjars The revolt cant be planned and implemented.

A tag has been placed on File:Govind Singh Gurjar.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello,

I have no agenda regarding your edits. I reverted your edits on Indian Rebellion of 1857 solely because you are removing large blocks on information without saying why, and including more that is unsourced. Please include sources with your edits and you can avoid being reverted by those patrolling recent changes for vandalism. Thank you for your cooperation! Gurjar

[edit]

Once an edit reverts a new addition you have made, and given a good faith explanation (especially one grounded in several different policies--here, WP:UNDUE, and WP:V), please go to the articles talk page and discuss the issue. Do not simply revert back to your preferred version without any explanation. If you have some rationale as to why we should include a redlinked person in the infobox gallery, please explain. Also, note that you will need to provide a valid, reliable source to verify that the person is a Gurjar before it can even be considered. Qwyrxian (talk) 06:33, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Gurjar shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hello, how is it violations if I provided evidence & How a news paper news is a copyright violation. We have taken the article about Gurjar people & their population published in Indian national news paper for reference only.(which is more than 100 years old publication & largest selling) Their data was based on pre-independence of India cast based census. At Jat people Wikipedia, same type of reference was used. So, Do not remove this information.

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel (Ex Home minister of India) was Patidar Gurjar, as already mentioned in Wikipedia of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. So why Kasmiri & you are tring to remove this information. He is Hero of Gurjars & They People celebrate his Birth Anniversary on 31 October every year. So, I request you to not to manipulate Great Gurjar history with any other caste or person. This is largest Tribe of ancient india and still exist in large number of modern India. Lots of groups are separated but still stand with great identity.

Sardar Patel is appropriate for huge caste. He is role model of Gurjars & there is not a single dispute for his ideology. So how you can decide his appropriation if his own people not. Previously somebody has removed pictures of Gurjar Icons. Then why you have not reverted. Please debate with proofs & facts if still you have. We are ready but till then do not revert. Thanks Gurjeshwar (talk) 09:51, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mr. Sitush, Please do not warn me for block, I writing in wikipedia for more than 9 years. I know every regulations. But you can not revert the information without telling facts and proofs. I am not writing any biased history or article for particular caste. Everything which i am providing here with proofs and facts. You decide one information relevant to one article and copyright violation for another. This type of dual regulations should not be imposed to writer if your are administrator. Being a administrator, you can not be always right. Gurjeshwar (talk) 09:57, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In all your time here you have done nothing except undo the honest information provided with proofs and facts. I still not able to understand that what is your problem, you are not talking openly on particular information on which you have objection, so we will provide more facts. Lots of articles has written on wikipedia without citation by writing and marking as citation needed. Here i am providing the web document proof, and you are doing objection without knowing the actual thing. I condemn your biased behaviour, and ready to talk on every Wikipedia articles where more discrepancies found. But you are taking your mind here with wrong conclusions. You can not permit any other caste relation including Rajput with Gurjars. I strictly objection on it. How you can co relate a large number of Gurjar people with other Rajput caste. It is not acceptable every writer is writing without biased.

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Dear Administrator/Sitush, This information is welcomed, but i have not provided any information nor written any biased information which is wrong. In fact i have provided the information with reference which is already permitted in wikipedia. Administrator is not clearly stating actual problem with material and what he want? So by giving this type of warning, it is really a pity to those honest writers who are forcefully banned by dictating behaviour. My contribution is a honest work, which i always did in past also.
