Possible COI

[edit]

Information icon Hello, H2254625. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Produce 101 (Chinese TV series), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Andrewa (talk) 21:20, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Andrewa:, hello, what makes you to think that? No, I'm just a Rocket girls 101 fan. --H2254625 (talk) 21:57, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Just asking, as you are a SPA. Thanks for the response. Wouldn't it be in their interests to be known by the shorter name? Break the tie with the show that launched them, and be considered a serious act in their own right? Just my opinion. On the other hand, the show obviously benefits from making the connection as obvious as possible. Andrewa (talk) 22:39, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'd wish I'm somehow connected -H2254625 (talk) 00:21, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
All good! I hope you read the COI policy, and noted that even if connected, contributions are welcome, it's mainly that disclosure is required and some contributions should be raised on talk pages rather than done directly. Andrewa (talk) 05:23, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Yang Chaoyue

[edit]

Hi, I'm Doomsdayer520. H2254625, thanks for creating Yang Chaoyue!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks for your new article on Yang Chaoyue. Note that the article needs some improvement with grammar and spelling, while a different editor suggested expanding the article with information from Chinese Wikipedia. Consider doing either of these if you are able. Good luck.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hello H2254625, pandaily.com is not a reliable source, but some news-aggregating tech blog with no journalistic credibility. Such sources are generally not suitable for Wikipedia (see also WP:RS). Assuming you have access to original Chinese sources from acknowledged reliable news media, please use such a source instead. Reliable non-English sources are perfectly fine to use, if no reliable English sources exist for the same info. Please also note, that such information about living people has even stricter requirements and needs high-quality sources (per WP:BLP). Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 08:08, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@GermanJoe: Well if you insist, I added some Chinese source. I just figured, it will help the reader to expand their reading by attaching some English translated blog... --H2254625 (talk) 09:26, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am sure you added the blog in good faith, but such sites should generally not be used as references. Thank you for the improved sources to resolve the issue, H2254625. GermanJoe (talk) 09:29, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

September 2022

[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Foreigner (2017 film), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to re-add it, please provide a reliable source include a citation .Please note IMDB is not a reliable sourceWikipedia:Citing IMDb. Lobo151 (talk) 09:32, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I see you have started edit war, not me. You did not provide source for the entire main plot and yet asking a source for a plot of a different edition? WP:BLUE, you do not own have any privilege over me and have no privilege to practice your double standard on Wikipedia. The alternate version is available to watch, and I do not need to prove WP:BLUE, and so is the same for all other Jackie Chan films. H2254625 (talk) 17:33, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are now mixing up 2 different topics. I request you to provide a reliable source include a citation. Please note IMDB is not a reliable sourceWikipedia:Citing IMDb. Also Wikipedia:Notability this is a English page, what is the notability for the other version.Lobo151 (talk) 18:13, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

have no privilege to practice your double standard on Wikipedia Do not Wikipedia:No personal attacks. I just aks for a source for your edit. The only reply I got is You did not provide source for the entire main plot. Lobo151 (talk) 18:17, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

you are practicing your double standard on Wikipedia, if the main plot has no source at all, and you want me to provide source on some obvious fact on a different cut, a cut that you can simply google and watch it on you own...then you are trolling.
