This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lutheran Evangelical Protestant Church, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.orgsites.com/pa/lutheranepc/_pgg4.php3. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 16:40, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The best step is to write the article in original prose and not recycle wording. Then copyright is a non-issue, since the site is being used as a research source.
Second, "used by permission" is not enough permission for Wikipedia, because there is the potential for downstream commercial use of the content. If LEPC really wants the wording on Wikipedia, they should put a GFDL license notice on the page in addition to their copyright notice. —C.Fred (talk) 17:08, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. The article has been rewritten from scratch. Core beliefs and position statements have been included exactly as stated by the LEPC (public domain). I need help in "wikifying." thx.

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Bishop Nancy Drew! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bangelfire\.com\/, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links guidelines for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Thx. I will try a different link although the links that were given have been used for several years by the LEPC/GCEPC and are not spam.

"On the Jews and Their Lives"

[edit]

That's a good addition to the article. If you could add a reference or link it would be nice.--Mantanmoreland 16:35, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. There is a #REDIRECT to the LEPC site to the position statement added.Bishop Nancy Drew 16:40, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Bishop Nancy Drew[reply]

Really? I can't seem to find that. I meant a link or reference after the quote actually.--Mantanmoreland 16:46, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry. It's an internal redirect to the LEPC Wikipedia page. Click on "The Lutheran Evangelical Protestant Church" just before the quote. I'll add an external link to the LEPC website. Bishop Nancy Drew 16:56, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Bishop Nancy Drew[reply]

Greetings! Please see the comment I left at Talk:The Lutheran Evangelical Protestant Church.

Specifically note that one of my concerns is your username; it suggests that you have a conflict of interest with the subject of the article. I would suggest you consider changing your username, since the names of organizations should not be used in usernames per the username policy. —C.Fred (talk) 16:25, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: The Lutheran Evangelical Protestant Church

[edit]

I've looked at the tone of the article, and it seems reasonably neutral. The article could still use more citations from sources outside the church; however, I've changed the tagging to say to improve the referencing, since I see there are some external links. I've dropped the cleanup and COI tags. It's definitely in a better state than it was. —C.Fred (talk) 02:52, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).. Can we get the notation by editors regarding citations at the top of the page removed or is this something we can do? Thanks again. HIS2008HIS2008 (talk) 16:36, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
