Caroline Wozniacki

Hey. Since you've been instrumental in refining and improving Serena's article, how would you feel about applying a similar copyedit to Caroline Wozniacki? I still think the prose there needs some considerable work but there's no reason why we couldn't make it engaging and more readable to the passer-by? Perhaps I'm being overly keen seeing how successful the Serena article has transformed, but what do you reckon? The Rambling Man (talk) 18:24, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

I think I will pass on that one. I may not be sufficiently objective. I think, however, it could be fun to push forward another article. But I think I would prefer a retired player (to spread out the types of work needed); in particular as Caroline has almost just started her senior career.--HJensen, talk 23:44, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Edit warring on the Serena Williams article

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Serena Williams. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. You performed five reversions on this article within a 24-hour period, in violation of WP:3RR. You can find a list of your reversions here Tennis expert (talk) 05:18, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

You should have learned . . . that your disruptive sarcasm is not welcome here.--HJensen, talk 05:58, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Hello. As a significant contributor to this article during its recent drive towards WP:FAC, I'm just posting a quick reminder to say, firstly, great work and, secondly, please continue with the great work. We're pretty close to a nomination and further help, particularly with citations on playing style, may just help clinch it. All the best. The Rambling Man (talk) 22:17, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! I'll give it a further go in coming days. Cheers!--HJensen, talk 22:51, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Now fixed, thanks. Ohconfucius (talk) 02:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Regarding the tagging of sock IPs

Hey there, HJensen. Sorry to bother you with this, but I'm involved in a minor argument with Tennis expert regarding the tagging of IPs used by sockpuppeteers with {{IPsock}}. Tennis expert has provided some diffs (e.g., this) which show you placing multiple {{IPsock}} templates referring to the same person on a single IP's user talk page, and is arguing that this is evidence of consensus that this is appropriate. I disagree that it's appropriate, and so I'd appreciate it if you commented on our discussion, which is intended to be centralized at WT:SPI#Question over tagging sock IPs. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 14:45, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

thx

for pointing out the Danish vs German thing. I don't know what will become of that very necessary project, like AdminWatch. I see that you don't have email enabled. Tony (talk) 08:04, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Your essay

Thanks for writing this, it was interesting and I would echo many of your sentiments. --John (talk) 00:11, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks!--HJensen, talk 07:51, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Suzy Creamcheese would approve of your essay. -- SWTPC6800 (talk) 04:18, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks :-) --HJensen, talk 07:51, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Your essay: it's just about all you could do under the circumstances. I'm sorry that you've been roped in in that way. For you and John and a few others it's like being passengers in a bad car accident. Tony (talk) 10:29, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Luckily, not that bad. :-) It just makes me wonder about the "governance" around here. --HJensen, talk 12:48, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Yep, just about everything you've written there is spot on. This Arbcom is going keep on keeping on... How depressing. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:42, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Indeed! Thanks for the thumbs up. Hope you will recover.--HJensen, talk 12:48, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
