Belonged to the Ellerman Line Sunk off Newhaven Sussex on August 13th, 1918 by U57 a submarine belonging to the Imperial German Navy, that sank off Zeebrugge the following day after hitting a mine, while returning to base. My father Walter James Brock was a wireless telegrapher aboard the City of Brisbane, at the time. All five crew reached the shore by lifeboat.HMBrock (talk) 19:40, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
