External URLs

[edit]

Hi, I noticed your new article, Guild of Television Camera Professionals (GTC), and made some fixes to it. We don't include external URLs in the body of articles. The URLs can be used as references, if appropriate, or in an External links section at the bottom, if appropriate, but not in the text. You can learn more about the appropriate uses of external URLs at WP:EL. Happy editing! Schazjmd (talk) 21:41, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The page Guild of British Camera Technicians (GBCT) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appeared to be about a company, corporation or organization that did not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
