Request reason:

Dear @Bbb23: and Wikipedia Administrators,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to appeal the block on my account "Hacrv76765" due to suspected sockpuppetry with my previous account "Songangte". I would like to provide some context and clarity on the matter:

Retiring "Songangte": I chose to retire my account "Songangte" primarily due to privacy concerns. I wanted a fresh start with "Hacrv76765" without carrying forward any associations from my old account. This decision was not made to evade scrutiny or manipulate any Wikipedia guidelines.

Creating the User Page for "Songangte": The action where "Hacrv76765" tried to create a user page for "Songangte" was a genuine oversight on my part. My intention was to provide a note linking back to my retired account for transparency. In hindsight, I understand how this could be perceived as suspicious, and I deeply regret not being clearer in my actions.

Commitment to Wikipedia's Integrity: I value Wikipedia's policies and principles. My decision to retire and create a new account was in no way an attempt to deceive the community or misuse the platform. I genuinely believed I was acting in line with Wikipedia's best practices by retiring an account and starting fresh, particularly when the previous username posed privacy concerns for me. You may note that all of my edits are legitimate and with valid sources and I have not engaged in any vandalism or warring.

I kindly request the Wikipedia Administrators to consider my appeal and the context provided. I understand the importance of ensuring the platform's integrity, and I assure you that my intentions have always been genuine and in the best interest of the Wikipedia community. In the future, I commit to being even more diligent in my actions and ensuring full transparency to prevent any misunderstandings.

Thank you for taking the time to review my appeal. I truly appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.

Warm regards, Hacrv76765

Decline reason:

Your retirement was considered to be "under a cloud". Vanishing as you did is typically only done for users who don't intend to return; the word "retirement" also suggests that you were not returning- if you intended to start a new account due to privacy issues, there are ways to do that that don't involve retirement. 331dot (talk) 09:34, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Hacrv76765

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username MPGuy2824, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Pramot Singh, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|MPGuy2824}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Meitei Leepun

[edit]

Hello Hacrv76765,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Meitei Leepun for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

A tag has been placed on Kuki Rebellion of 1917-1919, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
