Information icon Hello, HailyMarie. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. 2601:188:1:AEA0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 23:02, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Christina July Kim, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2601:188:1:AEA0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 23:12, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, HailyMarie, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as SVIFF (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Linguisttalk|contribs 00:01, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In reply to Linguist111, Christina July Kim should not be speedily deleted because I looked Christina July Kim up online and found her IMDB page [1]. I along with my coworkers at Salesforce.com met her this past December at the Silicon Valley International Film Festival and I wanted to write about her because there wasn't any formal information about her online. She is someone that anyone in the film industry in Silicon Valley would want to know especially because of her film festival. As a result, she is a person of interest. This is my first article and I would appreciate any help in cleaning up the article. Thank you in advance and I was very surprised by how negative some people are on here with trying to delete the article for ridiculous reasons and unwarranted accusations. --HailyMarie (talk) 16:35, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see you've written this on the article's talk page, your own user page, and here. If you believe an article should not be deleted, you only need to give your reasoning once in one place (on the article's talk page). Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Moreover, I recommend you read the conflict of interest guideline if you have not done so already. Thank you. In reply to Linguist111, I have read the the conflict of interest guideline and there is no conflict of interest as I am in no way connected to her other than having met her once in December. I don't benefit in any way through the Christina July Kim article. --HailyMarie (talk) 16:57, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
