Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Again, welcome! —Kf4bdy talk contribs

Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by admins or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. Yanksox (talk) 07:31, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please read Wikipedia's policy on civility towards other users. As the notice above says, you are likely to be blocked from editing if you continue to be abusive towards other editors. -- The Anome 07:37, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Civility in edit summaries

[edit]

Please consider this a last request. Cease from attacks on other users in edit summaries. -- Samir धर्म 07:43, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR block

[edit]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for violation of Wikipedia's three revert rule. Please do not engage in revert wars against other users. -- The Anome 07:44, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Enjoy your block, dude. By the way, Yanksox is not Jewish. - CrazyRussian talk/email 03:07, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]

After the block expires, which will be in approximately 15 minutes, you will be able to edit. I am going to ask you to not end anything in the page that may be seen as controversial (like changing the birthdate) without discussing it on the talk page of the article, and citing a source stating why it is so. Also, incivility toward other editors will not be tolerated; do not make personal attacks against other users. Doing so will just get you blocked again. You do not have to listen to my advice, however I think that you personally should, so you don't get into trouble and end up getting blocked again. Hope you understand. If you need any other help, email me or discuss this on my talk page. Iolakana|(talk) 13:45, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

re: Your email

[edit]

Regarding the fact that, as a Jew, I am biased as to Yousef al-Khattab, I admitted that explicitly, and recused myself from editing the article except for spelling, grammar, and vandalism reversions. Reporting me to the admins is your prerogative buddy. The bigger issue if that you sent me an email from yousefkhattab@whatever. If you are Yousef al-Khattab, then you have violated WP:AUTO. In order to avoid an appearance of impropriety, I might ask another user to look into getting the vanity article deleted via WP:AFD. Finally, please stop your revert war. You have been blocked once and are looking at another block. - CrazyRussian talk/email 15:21, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for disrupting Wikipedia by making personal attacks. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. - CrazyRussian talk/email 16:05, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
